Everleigh's parents died in a tragic car accident resulting in her having to go live with her mums old best friend who also happens to be her childhood best friends ,Westley's, parents, he's changed a lot but so has she.

Everleigh's pov The taxi dropped me off in the early evening of a Saturday, I start school on Monday with Wes and liv, let's just hope Wes is all I imagine him to be because we are going to be spending alottt of time together.
When we pulled up to the house, I was astounded by the place, I mean it was like a castle, it would take you a year to explore a quarter of the house, I wanted to say this suprised me but it really didn't.
Wes' parents were very work-orientated, they were amazing people but their work got in the way a lot, Wes used to tell me how much he just wanted his parents home at night. I felt so sorry for him but I knew that his parents worked hard and that's what they liked doing. Besides Wes had lots of hobbies.
We used to go down by this little lake in the summer, it was breathtaking, we would take about our future and Wes would push me in the water and I'd get mad at him for getting my hair wet. Sadly, we only discovered the lake the summer I left so we were only 11 when we visited the lake, looking back on it now, I'm kind of glad wes' parents worked so much because they would have killed us for half the science experiments and cooking disasters that went in in their house.

The house 🤩
I walked up to the door, my things had already been delivered apart from the carry on I had on my back. A well-dressed women answered the door who I recognised to be Julie, my mums friend and wes' mum.
Julie was really pretty, I wouldn't be surprised if she was a model in her past life. "You've grown so much!" She exclaimed acting like it hadn't been 6 years. Then Dave popped up into view like a jack in a box. "Everleigh! Wow I remember you being this big!" He said putting his hand at his waist to indicate my size when I was 11.
"Dave! I said giving him a friendly wave. I've always liked Dave, there's just something warm about him that I've always been liked, he used to play basketball with me and Wes on the court in their back garden, he was good at it too.
"Come in, come in" Julie said, ushering me inside as she closed the door behind me.
I stepped into the living room, it was beautiful of course. Wes' parents were interior designers so the whole house was like a living museum.

Alex came rushing into the room sliding across the hard floor like a toddler "is she here yet". I can't blame Alex for wanting a girl in the house, she's only got her brother and her parents are at work most of the time.

Alex runs up to me and stares at me for a few seconds, I look down at her and realise how much she looks like her mum, she is really pretty and I mean really pretty, I definitely did not look like this at 15. She had dark brunette hair and perfect facial features, her eyes a soft blue colour and her teeth white as paper.
After a few seconds she blurted out "your really pretty". I giggled a bit, she was precious. "Aw your so sweet, we should go out sometime, mabye shopping?" I said. She looked at me, eyes as wide as anything, "for real" she said. "For real" I repeated back to her.
Julie stepped in and replied "you should go tommorow morning, I can imagine you want some new clothes Everleigh, my treat". "Oh you really shouldn't, you've done enough, I mean you've aloud me to stay in your house until I can get on my feet, this is too much" I exclaimed.
"Don't be silly, your part of the household now, i insist" she said already putting money on my debit card. I regret giving her my details.
Alex was buzzing with excitement as she was explaining what we are going to do whilst shopping, it was so exciting to have people to do fun activities with.
At that moment, I felt a pair of eyes on me, I look back at the door frame to see a brown haired, about 6ft tall male standing there. He was fully clothed but I could tell he worked out, he was looking at me with the side of his lip curled up into a smirk. He stared at me and I stared back. "Westley" I whispered under my breath at what I thought was a quiet tone but obviously wasn't because he replied back with "you know it darling".
