  Hinata comforts Naruto after the loss of Kurama. Rest In Peace Kurama

 Hospitals were never his favorite place. this was the place he had to get surgery at, the place where people died. He only ever found this good when his children were born that's it. Now here he is laying in a hospital bed the noises of hospital machines a weird combination of sorrow and grief. A familiar voice cut his trail of thought off "N-Naruto" that voice belong to his dear wife 

'huh' he slowly sat up it hurt him a bit but he pulled threw finally he sat up and was greeted  with a hug not just any hug a gentle hug that only she could do

she had her arms around his neck but made sure not to add too much weight that  could hurt him 

"I thought I lost you guys," she said bringing her hand down to caress his hair 

Naruto who was still taking in all that was happing 'where the kids' he thought 

as if reading his mind " The kids are sleeping in the infirmary I went to check on them earlier while you were asleep" she said now in her sitting properly in her chair 

sigh "a-are they ok," he asked worriedly 

" yes, sakura made sure they were ok she just prescribe them medication and lots of rest". "Don't worry about Himawari she's at the Hyuga compound" she added 

"he died Hina, he just" Naruto started hyperventilating like when he Found out about sasuke 

"Who?" Hinata question trying to calm her husband down 

"Kurama," he said fully crying Hinata knew this hit him hard he lost many comrades many friends  

Using her hands she cradles his face gently wiping his tears with her thumbs 

Naruto hiccup "he was my friend Hinata he was my only family before you came he helped me fight many battles I earn his respect-" he went on and on Hinata let him spill all his feelings out understanding that he needed to get this out of his chest 

she didn't even know when he pulled on the hospital bed burying his head in between her chest sobbing 

" shh" she repeated rocking him like if he was a baby his head still buried in her chest

"he's dead Hinata" 

"Naruto" her voice stern making him look up at her

"He may not be here but he will always lie in your heart just like your mom and dad lie in yours. Just like Neji will always live in my heart Kurama watched you grow he watched you live your life make your dreams come true he's proud of you continue to make him proud he wouldn't want you to be sulking Kurama will never die as long as you continue living up his memory continue to make him proud he's always in your heart"

Hinata's words hit him hard he knows Kurama wouldn't want him sulking he would tell him to man up. as long as Kurama stays in his heart he'll be fine it gonna be hard to get used to him not being there he was always there in his mind at least but there nonetheless he was there 'thru thick and thin' and even there during intimate times  with his wife which was almost always   

closing his eyes leaning into the warm touch his wife provided "Thank you Hinata" 

he looked up at her staring into those lavender eyes "for always being there for me even when am feeling down or in the hospital".  

She offered him a gentle smile that he loved he felt like it was always reserved just for him 

"I love you hime" 

"I love you too,"  she said while caressing his  face

he lean in and kissed her with all the love he had 

and she did the same he knew he didn't have to worry about kurama 

Kurama will surely not be pleased if he spent the rest of his life moping around 

Just like Hinata said he is not dead he just lies in his heart  just like his parents and even Neji

Omg, I was sobbing while writing this. when I watched the lasted episode I knew I had to write a Oneshot because knowing the Brouto animators they will probably never make this a scene so I just had to write this. This is what I think Hinata would say to Naruto 

     REST IN PEACE KURAMA ❤️😭❤️
