I pull up to my salon, hopping out of my car, locking the doors before walking inside seeing my girls in their areas doing their clients hair

"heyy ladies" i said as the front door closed behind me with them instantly smiling just by my presence

"ahh hey gorgeous!" kia says

"heyy livvv" says patience

"heyyy girlyyyy" simone says with me smiling

"how y'all doing?" i asked while walking to my spot pulling out a packet of hair separating it

"greattt" they all said at the same time with me chuckling softly

"that's good" i replied as i continued to separate the hair

"yeah, what about you liv?" Kia asked with me taking a deep sigh

"...im good i guess" i replied dryly with kia glaring at me

"..is there something your not telling us?" she asked with me looking down

"...chris texted me saying how he misses me.." i responded with simone's, kia's and patience's eyes widening

"are you fucking serious?" simone said

"he texted you saying how he misses you!" kia added

"after you caught him cheating on you on your birthday in your room with your sister!" patience added as well with me not saying anything but just nodding

"mhm..." i said with kia walking over to me

"oh hell no...should i have my brothers jump his ass again?" she asked with me laughing under my breath

"that would be nice but...no thanks" i replied with her rubbing my back

"you sure?" She asked with me nodding

"...if you say so" she says before walking back to her spot

"wait liv, you didn't text him back right?" Simone asked with me shaking my head no

"no..of course not..now high school me definitely would've but no..i did not" i replied with her slowly nodding

"mhm an-" she starts before getting cut off by a customer walking through the door

"hi, im here for an appointment with...olivia baker" the woman says with me smiling before putting my hand up

"that's me..you must be grace right?" i asked with her smiling while nodding

"great, please have a seat right here" i tell her with her walking over to my area sitting down

"you said you wanted short butterfly locs right?" i asked while wrapping a black cape around her

"yes sweetheart" she says with me smiling

"okayy" i said before getting started on her hair

As I'm doing miss.grace's hair we're both talking and laughing together...she's a very nice and funny woman, i like that about her

"oh you have kids? how many? and what's their names?" i asked while braiding her hair with her smiling about to answer but she's cut off by her phone ringing

"just a second sweetie" she says before pulling out her phone seeing that it was a facetime call from her son

"oh won't you look at that...it's me oldest son calling" she says with me chuckling softly before she answered her phone
