The sun filtered through my bedroom window, and my eyes fluttered open. I looked over at my bed side table and glanced at my clock, it's 10:00 a.m. That's when I remember and fly out of bed, jeans, T-shirt, and my hiking boots are on, and before I know it I've grabbed a pice of toast and am out the door.
"Where are you going?" my mom asks as she glances at my boots.
"Out for a walk in the woods." I replied casually.
She sighed
"Be back in time for lunch, and don't go any farther than the lake!" She called as I sprinted out the door.

As I ran past trees, and bushes I tried to keep on high alert for anything that might scream "wolf" at me. Then I smelt it, I stopped dead in my tracks as the sent trail revealed itself to me. I slowly crept forward, winding through the trees with inhuman grace.
The wind blew through the leaves, making them rustle and shake, then I saw the breathtaking sliver wolf leap out from the cover of the brush. I stood as still as a statue, she prowled around me as if looking for her prey, but I knew better she was looking-at me. Then all I could feel was peace, it felt like home.
The sense was quickly interrupted as a saw the wolfs silver body hurtling towards me. The next thing I knew she was on top of me, I screamed for help but I was too far away for anybody to hear, the stupid trail had led me past the lake! I thrashed, and tried to throw her off but she pushed me down until I had no energy left. Then what felt like two very sharp needles pierced my left shoulder, I screamed at the top of my lungs till I was out of breath. The last thing I remember she was grinning at me with a wolffish smile, and blood dripping off her canines.
