Tina's mouth dropped open in shock why was he calling her Diana? and once more she was not saying a word about it and what did he mean that they should have been honest with her from the start was really making her think. The biggest question was honest about what?

Diana said, "It's not like you had to tell her this way. Go ahead if that is how you want your precious daughter to find out that you have been lying to her for years and that her real mom died, and she saw her laying on the floor and it was all because you screwed up at work and they came looking for you."

Tina could not believe what she was hearing. The thought was that her mom was not her mom, she was someone different. So just what happened to her real mom?

Tina could tell that Diana had just been wanting to tell her this for years, but she knew that it would be her dad that was making her not say anything. Tina stopped and looked at them both and she could not believe that most of her life they were living a lie. She was stunned to the point that she just didn't know what to say.

Sam said, "You didn't have to tell her that way it was rude." He wanted to tell her, but he would have tried to break it to her a little easier than she did.

Diana said, "You started it I just let her know the whole thing."

Tina could tell that Diana was looking so happy destroying her life like this. Tina thought back to the day that she decided that it all was just a dream and realized that she did see it and it all was real but who is this Diana she looked and smelt just like mom. Just who was she and why did they do this to her? Then the thought hit her what happened to her mom and what did they do with her?

Tina was devastated and she turned to Diana and started to ask her some questions since they were all rushing around in her head. But Diana just looked at her and said, "I'm not answering any questions anything that you want to know your father will have to tell you."

Tina thought that this is all so unfair she was so hurt and so mad and no one was doing anything to help her.

Just then her dad let out a huge cough and spat up a bunch of blood. The nurse had warned them about his condition and that it was happening. As soon as that happened some nurses rushed in and told them both that they had to leave. Tina protested she really needed him to say what happened, she knew that there was no way that Diana was going to go into anything.

A nurse got in her face and said, "We are trying to save his life, you will have to wait outside."

Tina looked at her pleadingly, but she knew that it was best to give them some room to work. This would give her some time to talk to her privately and maybe she could at least get a little information about who she was or something.

Diana Left right away trying to get some distance between them knowing that Tina would be trying to ask all those questions that she really didn't want to answer. She made it outside before Tina grabbed ahold of her arm.

Diana turned and saw just how broken down and sad she really was. She knew that she was not her mom but that didn't mean that she had not grown to love her no matter how much that she tried to keep her distance.

Tina was pleading for her just to let her in on a little. Diana finally said, "Fine I will answer a few questions. But only a few as long as it doesn't get too bad."

Tina wondered just what she meant by too bad, but at least she was willing to answer a few, at least that would be something.

Tina asked, "Who are you, and how do you look like my mom?"

Diana said, "You were so young when it happened and your mom and I had a fight, so you don't even remember that I existed, but I am really your aunt. Your mom's twin sister the fight we had was over your dad she had stolen him away from me and that caused a rift between us."

Tina asked, "So what happened to my mom?"

Diana's heart melted a little and she said, "Your father told me she was killed and that is all I can tell you about that he will have to fill you in on everything else."

Tina asked, "But what happened? How did you get to be my mom?"

Diana replied, "Your father called me and told me that he was going to need my help and wondered if I could come. When I told him yes, he filled me in on his plan of replacing her with me. Since I loved him already, I said yes. We were planning on telling you when you got older, but the time was never right I just couldn't convince him to do it."

"What happened to my mom then?" Tina asked.

Diana replied, "She is buried in the cemetery on the hill. That is all I know about it. I suppose I can take you up there now that you know." She had been hoping her dad would have taken time to explain everything instead of letting it all go till now where she was going to have to deal with it and not giving Tina any real time to grieve over her loss or compiling it now with the loss that she was going to be going through now.

Tina just didn't know what to do with all this to find out that her dad was on his death bed but to have to accept that her supposed mom was lying to her and her mom was dead and buried on top of everything was just too much.

Tina sat down on a bench just to try and process everything. At this point she didn't want to talk to anyone, the feeling of loss was almost more than she thought that she could handle. Her heart ached and she thought about how much her mom loved her and how her real mom was and how much Diana had treated her so differently. Tina was mad at both of them for keeping her in the dark but with her dad so sick to the point that she assumes that he is dying there is no way that she could even say anything to him. She could tell that she was lucky just to get the little bit of information that Diana was giving her.

As Tina sat there trying to figure out what her next step should be her phone started going off in her pocket. She pulled it out and looked to see it was Ken she had forgotten to text him and fill him in on everything that was going on. She looked down at her phone and really didn't want to talk to him right now, but she knew that he would be on his way to her place to pick her up for graduation which would be starting in just over an hour.

Tina took a deep breath and tried to settle herself she didn't want to sound too rattled, or she knew that he would just blow off graduation and come be with her. She didn't want to ruin it for anyone else, it was going to be bad enough that she was going to be missing it let alone that it would cause anyone else to miss there's.

No matter how badly she didn't want to smile she put a fake one on so that she could at least try and be in character for the call. She tried her best to sound happy and excited like she was when he dropped her off at home before her world turned upside down.

She said, "Hi Ken."

Ken asked, "Are you about ready to be picked up?"

Tina said, "I'm so sorry I won't be able to go with you. You know how parents can be." She didn't want to go into anything that was happening now.

Ken asked, "Are you sure? I could swing by a little later if you just needed a little more time."

Tina said, "Yea, I'm sure. I'll just have to fill you in on everything that is going on when I see you later."

Ken's tone changed, he was no longer cheerful, and he asked, "Are they going to get you there early so we have a little time before it starts?"

Tina lost her smile she didn't want to lie to him but there was no way that she wanted to tell him the whole truth either so she said, "It doesn't look like they will be getting me there early at all. You know how mom is always running late."

She knew that was not a lie, but she knew that those things always seemed to happen when they were for her.

Ken asked, "Is she giving you a hard time again today? The least that she could do was give you a break on your grad........"

There was a loud crash that came over the phone then dead silence and a disconnect.

Tina said, "Ken are you okay? Ken. Ken answer me. This is not funny..."

Tina thought this just can't be happening there is just no way that this can be happening to me today.
