The Date

Aubrey's POV

 When we went back downstairs everyone was still outside by the pool and as we walked out everyone was staring at us and smiling because we were holding hands. Connor went to sit down on one of the chairs and pulled me into his lap and wrapped his arms around me as I leaned back against him. 

"So looks like you guys finally talked with each other." Said Jc

"yeah we did." Connor replied with a smile on his face. I just sat there and didn't say a word. 

"I want to take you somewhere for our first date." Connor whispered in my ear.

"Ok and when will this date be?" I whispered back. 

"Its a surprise. be ready at 5." He said. So I got up grabbed Abby and Macy and went upstairs. When we got upstairs and I shut the door they looked at me with faces like what happened. 

"So after we went upstairs I told him that I liked him and he kissed me and then said that he liked me to and it was amazing." I told both of them.

" So are you guys dating now." Asked Abby. 

"He hasn't asked me to be his girlfriend yet but he is taking me out on a date in an hour and Im so nervous because I really like him." I said.

Don't be nervous we will help you get ready come on we don't have much time." said Macy. So they dragged me into the bathroom and started to work their magic on me.

*1 hour later*

Connor's POV

Im so nervous for my date with Aubrey, I planned the perfect date. First I am going to take her to a picnic in the park and then out for ice cream and then just walk around town until it gets to be sunset. When it reaches sunset I'm going to take her to the beach and while we are walking down it when we get down farther there is going to be "Will You Be My Girlfriend." writtin in the sand. I know it sounds cheesy but I really like her and I want this date to turn out perfect. 

"Dude you are going to be fine she is going to love it." Jc reassured me. Then she came walking down the stairs and she took my breath away because she was so beautiful and I kept thinking I can't believe she might be mine. 

Aubreys POV

When I got down the stairs Connor didn't say anything at first and I got shy and looked down at the floor, until Connor tilted my chin up for me to look at him.

"You look beautiful." he said. I was wearing a blue short dress with flats as shoes and my hair was curled to perfection. Then he took my hand and we got in the car and he drove us to wherever we were going to. He turned up the radio and started singing out to the music. 

"You're a dork." I giggled and he stared at me with a smile on his face and then continued singing until we got to a park and he parked the car and went around the other side to help me out. Then he led us to a spot by the playground under the tree and there was a picnic set up and I had a big smile on my face the whole time. We were there for three hours, we played hide and seek, and tried to throw grapes into each others mouths, until he packed everything and told me he had another surprise for me. So we got in the car and he pulled into an ice cream shop.

"Ooo I love ice cream." I said and Connor just smiled at me and after he helped me out of the car we went in and I ordered Strawberry ice cream and Connor ordered Chocolate. After we ordered our ice cream we sat on the curb and just talked about things about ourselvels.

"So tell me something about yourself." Connor said to me as we were walking around town.

"Well my dad died when I was 8 and we were really close and after he died my mom just shut down and wouldn't talk to anyone. So I kind of took care of myself and my little sister named Rachel who is 10 now and Im 17 so yeah." After I was finished Connor just looked at me for a second.

"Wow I can't believe that happened to you but Im glad you came to California for the summer." He said with a smile. I smiled back at him and then as the sun was setting he took me to the last place he had planned for our date and Im excited to see what it is. So when he pulled up to a beach I got butterflies in my stomach for the perfect date he planned. As we were walking down the beach he stopped me and told me to look down and when I did my heart started beating really fast because it said "Will You Be My Girlfriend." I got tears in my eyes when I saw it and then I looked at him.

"So Aubrey will you?" I shook my head yes.

"Yes I will be your girlfriend." He gave me a big smile and then kissed me so passionately that my heart stopped beating for a second. After he pulled away we just kept our heads together and smiled like idiots. This was the best date every and I will remember this day for the rest of my life.
