The bells are getting louder as he gets closer, his ashy blond hair is just visible from the shadows and his musky smell invades all of my senses, I swear he's so close I could touch him, but I don't, I wait for his hands to caress my face.

This doesn't happen though, as screams wake me from my nightmare. It's not my father that's for sure and I have never woken myself up with screaming in the past so its not me. Shit. Blake. I can practically see those soft eyes, terrified in the night."Blake ! What's wrong, what's happened ?"
I ask as I burst in through the door to the spare room. I can just about make out a body thrashing about under the blue and white stripped duvet. However, there I don't get a reply, as I walk further into the room and close the door so my father doesn't hear, I see Blake's eyes are still closed tightly, in sleep, he has tears pooled on his cheeks and sweat soaking his skin. Why is the world so cruel to the most beautiful people.
What must be going through his mind ?

I lean down and try to shake his shoulder gently to wake him, that doesn't work. I begin to start shaking roughly and saying his name when Blake's eyes spring open and he sits up-right.
"Scarlet why are you in here ?" His voice sounded so frail and weak and his breathing was still rapid as his chest rose and fell.
"You were screaming in your sleep Blake" I reply while placing my hand on his shoulder lightly, as I do so I could feel a shiver run through his body an he turns to look at me properly.
"Not again" He mumbles under his breath and then speaks directly to me.
"I'm sorry I woke you, I haven't been able to keep the screaming under control for a little while now"
Blake shuffles on the bed a little until he has turned around to face me properly.
"It's fine, do you want to talk about whatever was troubling your sleep ?" I ask hoping to be able to get to the bottom of it, and maybe able to help.
"Not really, I just want to go back to sleep" He chuckles lightly and then yawns loudly.
"That's fine" I get up to leave, as my arm leaves his shoulder, his hand darts out and rests on my forearm pulling me down slightly.
"Don't go Scar, stay with me while I sleep, Please ? "
His plea shocked me slightly, Iv'e only just met Blake and already he feels comfortable enough to ask me to sleep with him. Not literally I hope, they're not my intentions anyway.
"Okay" I agree with a sigh as I pull the corner of the duvet back enough so I can get in.
The bed's cold as I bring my feet up underneath the duvet. I don't mean to but I cuddle close to Blake's chest as soon as i'm fully in the bed.
"This okay ?" I ask before trying to move further from him incase he wasn't comfortable.
"Yes, this is fine Scar, I hope you help." After he says this he places his arm around my shoulders and brings me back into his chest, and eventually falls asleep.
