• Present Day •
Three months pass.
The citizens of Mondstadt had reactions of surprise and awe, ever since the start. There was a new special member of the Knights of Favonius, deemed "The Golden Child."Protected under the knights, this young boy/girl was that of a beacon of light. Everyday, someone would walk with them through Mondstadt, and the child would greet every face he/she met.
Many took a great liking to the golden one, and enjoyed seeing her/him in their daily lives.
Today, was no different.
"Two orders of your finest Chicken Mushroom Skewers, please."
Sara, the waitress for Good Hunter, turned to two familiar faces. She smiled with warmth at the two.
"Ah, Kaeya and (Y/N)! Of course, I'll have those whipped up in just a moment."
"Thank you kindly."
"Tank youuu!!"
You were siting behind Kaeya's neck, your legs dangling from both sides. Your small head rested on top of his, and Kaeya made sure to keep good balance so you wouldn't fall.
Once you both got your food, you were handed one skewer by Kaeya. Taking a bite, you smiled with satisfaction, loving the familiar taste.
"So, dear (Y/N), what would you be fond of completing today? What's on your mind?"
You instantly replied, with your mouth full.
"Oh, oh! Can we get some flowers?? I wanna pass one to everyone in town! *gasp* Can we go see Diluc?? Oh, what about visiting the big statue with the wings??"
Kaeya chuckled with delight. He adored your cheerful demeanor. It really did bring joy into his heart.
"We can do all of that, my princess/prince! Let's go see Flora to get some flowers."
"Yaaay, flowers!!"
As you both walked to the flower shop, you waved and greeted everyone you passed by. Almost everyone you spoke to waved back with glee, being very happy to see you.
Once you reached to the shop, you already knew what flowers you wanted to get.
"Oh! Can we get some of these ones, Flora???"
"Some Cecilia's? Of course!"
After Kaeya had paid for the flowers, he crouched down to hand the pack to you. He shuffled through your hair whilst speaking.
"Lovely choice."
"Hehe, thank you!"
You carried the flowers in one arm as Kaeya held your other hand, walking with him down the street. Anyone who passed by you two, was a chance for you to give one of the flowers to them. Seeing the people smile made you smile just as much.
Next up, was visiting Diluc.
