"NingNing, you have to meet a family today" Sunny called over the long black-haired girl.

"Can you help me with my hair Unnie?" NingNing asked as she handed the older woman the comb.

"Arraso, what hairstyle?" Sunny softly combed the soft hair of the younger.

"Braids," she said happily as she started humming a random tune while the older tied her hair.

"Are you excited? it's been a while since you met a family" Sunny asked the younger.

"I'm nervous, what if they don't like me" NingNing answered honestly which caused the older to frown at her response.

"They will love you, I mean who wouldn't your such an angel," Sunny said finishing up the braids "And if they don't well maybe they weren't the right family yet"

"You're my family Unnie, everyone here even Minjeongie" NingNing claimed making the older to smile at her response.

"You know she's your Unnie too"

"Eung~ but she's like a baby so I won't call her"

"Oh, speaking of a baby, look your friend is awake" Sunny pointed at a newly awoken Minjeong in Jessica's arms who still looked half asleep.

"It's weird seeing Jessica being all sweet to a kid rather than teasing them" Yuri commented from behind.

"I think she turned soft for Minjeong" Sunny smiled seeing the usual cold woman cooing at Minjeong.

"Minjeongie!" NingNing waved to grab her friend's attention, the said girl perked up at the mention of her name when she saw NingNing smile and motioned the older woman to put her down now.

"Why are you wearing a dress?" Minjeong asked as she noticed how unusual NingNing was dressed early in the morning (even though it was past 9).

"Oh I have to meet a family today" NingNing grinned while Minjeong stared at her dumbfounded.

"It's like an interview for her to get adopted, she has to meet a suitable family when they like her and if NingNing likes them too they'll adopt her" Sunny calmly explained to Minjeong who was a bit clueless about how adoption worked.

"You're leaving?" Minjeong worriedly asked.

"Ani, it's not sure yet" NingNing tried to reassure her friend who looked like she was about to burst into tears.

"NingNing-ah they're here, let's go" Hyoyeon called her as she entered the room, NingNing was torn about what to do but it would be rude to make them wait.

"I'll be back okay Minjeong-ah" The Chinese girl assured her friend as she rush to go to Hyoyeon.

Minjeong was left with Sunny who was staring at her worriedly.

"Sweetie? you wanna sit with me?" she asked softly as she open her arms for the young girl.

The short-haired didn't hesitate at all and buried herself in the older's arms, she didn't know why she felt this but being separated from NingNing made her sad, no, it makes her devastated to know she might leave her too.

"Sweetie, wanna tell me what's bothering you?" Sunny asked as she caressed her back.

"I--I...I just" Minjeong didn't know the right words to use anymore her thoughts were jumbled and all her emotions were suffocating her she didn't know what to do anymore.

But one thing was certain.

"I want NingNing" she blurted out.

Sunny comforted the younger as she rubbed her back to calm her down, she could understand her feelings as Minjeong has grown attached to the Chinese girl, and the thought of one-day NingNing leaving made her feel scared and sad.
