You were friends with Marcy before you could even speak a sentence. You guys were inseparable since then. Sure Marcy could space out often, plus she was VERY clumsy. But that made her even more loveable.
You were waiting for your best friend in front of the mall. You felt someone jump onto your back. You quickly put your arms under their legs for support. The person covered your eyes and says: "guess who?". You heard Marcy's voice and immediately knew it was her. "Hey Marc". You and her giggled and you started to walk wherever she directed you.

You eventually got tired from carrying Marcy (nerd arms). So she eventually walked next to you. Marcy started holding your hand a lot through the day. This confused you, but you just brushed it off as her being friendly with you. Soon you two were goofing off and laughing at various topics. (You guys were sitting at one of the food court tables eating your food).
Soon you and Marcy were in your room just chilling. Marc look like she had A LOT on her mind at the moment tho. "Marcy, you ok??" "Look Y/n, I have A LOT to get off my chest rn". "Ok, go ahead". "You see Y/n, you are my dearest friend on this Earth, and I never EVER like any of your boyfriends, like EVER" You shot Marcy a confused look. "Marc, what are you-". " They won't love or understand you like I have all these years Y/n". "I don't know how to exactly say this Y/n, but I....I really really love you".
Your eyes widened in complete shock and understanding. You finally saw why she was acting clingy all day at the mall. And why she had a lot on her mind moments before. It all made sense now....
"Y/n???." "Y/N!!". Her voice snapped you back to reality. She grabbed your hand
"Do you feel the same way??" You let out a small "yes". You tightly hugged Marcy. Happy tears streamed down your face as you joyfully sobbed. "I can't believe you've liked me all this time Marcy!". Marcy giggled. "I've liked you before I even knew what feelings were about Y/n".
