Bottom: A female appointee by the pimp to supervise the others and report rule violations. Operating as his "right hand," the Bottom may help instruct family, collect money, book hotel rooms, post ads, or inflict punishments on other girls.
Choosing Up: The process by which a different pimp takes "ownership" of a girl.
Circuit: Pimps move their girls to and from a web of tracks that make up a circuit. There are circuits all across the US - San Diego, Hollywood, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Scottsdale, etc. The pimps also work together across the circuits so they can move girls more easily.
Daddy: The term a pimp will often require his girls to call him.
Exit Fee: The money a pimp will demand from a girl who is thinking about trying to leave. It will be an exorbitant sum, to discourage her from leaving.
Family/Folks: The term used to describe the other individuals under the control of the same pimp. He plays the role of father (or "Daddy") while the group fulfills the need for a "family."
Household: A stable of three or four prostitutes.
Ism: Good, official pimpin'.
Mack: A person who controls and financially benefits from the commercial sexual exploitation of another person.
Out of Pocket: The phrase describing when a girl is not under control of a pimp but working on a pimp-controlled track, leaving her vulnerable to threats, harassment, and violence in order to make her "choose" a pimp. Also when a girl does something wrong, like argue, look at another pimp, or try to run off another girl in her family.

Seasoning: A combination of psychological manipulation, intimidation, isolation from friends or family and other sources of support. Seasoning is designed to break down a girls resistance and ensure compliance.
Simp: A fake pimp.
Squaring Up: Attempting to escape or exit prostitution.
Stable: A group of girls who are under the control of a single pimp.
Thoroughbred: A good prostitute.
Track: The track is the street where prostitutes work. Pimps move the girls around a lot from track to track as police move in and out of certain areas and as demand fluctuates.
Wifeys/Wife-in-Law/Sister Wife: What girls under the control of the same pimp call each other. (See Family/Folks and Stable.)
