Chapter 2

::Maddie's P.O.V.::

I'm the most popular girl at Pinewood. My best friend Kendall is second most popular but I don't tell her that because she'll get mad.

Chloe is the nerdiest girl at Pinewood. I've always been a little jealous of Chloe because she gets straight A's. She hasn't had a single B since kindergarten. I don't tell Kendall that I'm jealous because she'll laugh.

I have millions of dollars in my bank account from meet and greets, music videos, award shows, T.V., and just because I want money. I have Gucci purses, Louis Vuitton book bags, and all my school supplies are covered in Swarovski diamonds. My boyfriends name is Jacob Robinson and he's the star player on the Pinewood middle school football team.

Kendall has been my best friend since pre-school and we've never fought.

"Hey Maddie!" Jacob yells to me as he runs to me and puts his arm around my shoulder

"Hey! What's wrong?" I ask while we walk to lunch

"Nothing. You wanna come to my Christmas party this weekend?" he asks me as he moves his arm down to my upper waist

"Sure, only if Kendall can come too."

"Well obviously I invited her and Kenny already"

Kenny is Kendall's boyfriend they've been together for about a year and they're pretty touchy. Trust me you don't want to see it.

"You invited them before me?!" I ask while I push his arm off of my waist

"Well we're all in first period together. So yeah." he says trying to put his arm around me again

"No. Don't put your arm around me. Why didn't you ask me this morning?!" I ask again with more anger in my voice

"Sorry it's just I forgot..." he says like he's sorry

"YOU NEVER FORGET ANYTHING!" I shoot back

He moves back like he's scared of me and walks in the cafeteria. I just stood there in confusion and Kendall comes up behind me and asks, "So you going to Jacobs party? Wait never mind I shouldn't have even asked that of course you are."

"Yeah, yeah I'm going." I say to Kendall
