"Talia!" My mother screamed from the other room.
I hesitantly got up and walked into the next room,
She was sitting on her bed with her bag packed next to her.
"We are leaving. Now, your aunt Faira said we can stay there."
A sickening feeling dropped onto me with i struggled for words.
I couldn't find the words, so I nodded and ran to my room.
My father was on the couch, I ignored him.
Slamming the door to my room, I looked around. My room, the room I've spent my whole life in.
I threw clothes and shoes into a suitcase and packed my books, laptop, and school supplies.
I stomped down stairs and threw it all by the door.
"Talia..." My dad sounded sorry but upset.
I didn't care, I knew they were splitting up,
And
I didn't want to hear it.
mom came out a short time later and we left.
