The next day
I saw Wynter sitting on the stairs looking sad. "Hey Wynter. Why so sad?" I asked "Do you think we are monsters?" She asked with a sniffle at the end. "No. Why?" "Bucky told me I was a monster and I would never fit in." "Wynter you shine brighter than any sun. Of course your going to stand out. Some as great as you would have to lose your shine to fit in." "We have the same schedule so tell the teachers I had a family emergency and had to go home." I told her. "What why?" She asked "I have to do something. That I my regret." I said. I ran to the wolf den. "Where is he?" I asked as I walked in. Willa showed me to his room. "Forced hibernation." I said as my hands glowed. "He will be a sleep till I can fix his moonstone." I told Willa "Tell me what's happening to my brother." "His moonstone is cracked so he is dieing." "What. I wasn't aware that a cracked moonstone could kill a wolf." I need the energy from the moonstone to fix his. I'm the only one that can. As long as he's asleep the effects will be on pause." I said walking out I touched the moonstone as my eyes glowed amber.
