The Birth Of The Three

It was a peaceful day at Pride Rock, the zebras were grooming each other, the elephants were trumpeting their trunks in joy, and the Giraffes were eating from the tallest parts of trees, everything was peaceful, but little did the animals know, that inside the den of Pride Rock, Kiara, the Lion Queen, was giving birth to her firstborn cub, things were going just fine, Kiara then yowled to Kovu, "Kovu, Come Quick!" Kovu then got on his feet and rushed from the edge of Pride Rock all the way to the entrance of the den and meowed, "What is it, Kiara?" Kiara then happily meowed, "It's A Boy!" Kovu then lit up with joy and meowed, "Great, a Strong, Handsome, Healthy Future King." Kiara then struggled, she was having another cub, Kiara then yowled in pain and said, "GET RAFIKI!" Kovu then ran out of the den and straight around the corner of the den and yowled, "Rafiki, Kiara needs you again, she's having more cubs." Rafiki then dropped his staff and ran as fast as he could up the side of the den and straight into the den entrance and meowed, "Kiara, what I want you to do is push, not too hard, but push." Kiara then pushed with all the strength that she had and two healthy cubs, two girls were born. A few moments later, when the kitting was done, Rafiki left to go to the side of Pride Rock, which was where his cave was located. Kovu then laid down beside Kiara and meowed, "So, what are their names?" Kiara then looked down at the cubs and said, "The brown-colored lion will be named Koda, the Light Cream colored lioness will be named Asha, and the Darker Cream colored lioness will be named Leah." Kovu then smiled at the cubs and meowed, "Beautiful names, Koda, The Future King, Asha The Adventurer, and Leah, The Smart One."

A few months have passed since the cubs were born, Koda has dark brown fur, Red eyes, and a darker brown mane and tail fur. Asha is a light cream-colored lioness with light green eyes and brown tail fur. Leah is a darker cream-colored lioness with green eyes and light brown tail fur. As the cubs were about to head to the watering hole, Kiara, their mother stopped them and mewed, "And where do you think you are going?" Koda then turned around and meowed, "We're just thinking we would head down to the watering hole, our friends are waiting for us there and we just thought when we'd get there we would race to the ravine and back home, but if you and dad want us to stay behind, then I could tell them that we could go tomorrow unless you say differently." Kovu then stepped out of the den and meowed, "Be careful, and stay away from the Out Lands, you guys know not to go there, so just stay within the Pride Lands, alright." Leah then turned around and mewed, "We'll stay away from the Out Lands, and we will stay inside the Pride Lands at all times, alright, can we go now, please?" Kiara then smiled and snickered, "Mind your father, Leah." Leah then rubbed her head against her mother's stomach and said, "Yes, Mom."
