Ash's POV

I got home at about 5 with two hours to get ready before the taxi arrived to take us to St. Rebel. My friend Lucy was already at my house in my kitchen eating a muffin. My mum had let her in. "Though you weren't gonna turn up," Lucy said as she put the remaining muffin in her mouth. Unlike me, Lucy wasn't a dancer. She had brunette hair that reached her shoulders also unlike mine which was blonde and reached halfway down my back. "Coming upstairs to get ready then?" I questioned. Lucy jumped up from the stool she was sitting on at the kitchen island. "Sure," she replied.

We walked upstairs and into the hallway. Lucy went straight into my room but I opened my mums door and popped my head in. She was lying down on the bed with my little sister Millie listening to nursery rhymes. I waved to her so I wouldn't disturb Millie and closed the door. I went into my bedroom to find my dressing table occupied by Lucy already getting out her make up bag and hair straighteners. The only word to describe my room would be pink. Apart from a white wardrobe and dresser, pink was the main feature of my room. I opened the door to my wardrobe and pulled out a white top and some high waist black shorts.

Mason's POV

I was a little late but I still arrived at the club. Rob didnt seem happy though. "Late are we Mr Carter?"

"Only a few minutes," I replied dumping my bag of records onto the bar. "The decks are up there," Rob said pointing to a raised platform at the back of the club. "Some records have already been provided." I went to the decks and picked out two records from the shelf behind my head. I put them onto the decks and pressed play. The records started spinning whilst I scratched and spun them a few times. I pressed stop and gave the thumbs up to the sound tech. Guy who was on a ladder positioning some strobe lights. "Sticking around Rob?" I asked him.

"Can't," he replied. "Got a business call later."

Rob was an alright guy and he didn't look that old, for his early 40s. He was the one who got all my gigs and organised everything. He discovered me when I was 15, sat on the park bench because I had nothing to do. He asked me if I wanted to be a somebody and I obviously said yes. I'm not really famous but I'm well known. I guess that's the only way you're gonna get to the top.

"You'll do good tonight kid," Rob said. He handed me my bag and walked out of the club. I took my bag to the decks and started setting up. I picked some new records that all the teenagers would know and started to plan out my sets.

Ash's POV

"Be careful girls," my mum said at the door. My dad was In the window and Millie was waving and blowing us kisses in his arms. "We will be," I said trying to get out the door. The taxi was idling on the side of the road as Lucy and I walked over to it. We were picking up Orla and Briony on the way. "It's freezing tonight," Lucy complained climbing in the back of the taxi. I clambered in after her and mumbled my agreement. We were pretty stupid really. It was the middle of February and we hadn't thought of putting on tights or leggings under our shorts.

We got to Orla's where she and Briony joined us. Orla was stuck in the front with the socially awkward taxi driver whilst I was squashed in the middle between Lucy and Briony. The four of us were best friends and I liked it that way. One best friend would be too close but too many would be too distant. In my case, three was fine.

We got dropped off down the road from the club. Orla paid the driver and we walked up the St. Rebel. It was already packed outside and there was a line to get in. We waited for about 15 minutes in the line until it was our turn to go through.

A/N I wrote this in my sport lesson at school xD sorry if its shite.
