Riddima was looking at the person who is back is visible to her while holding rishi , she again asks

Riddima : who are you ?

The person was sitting without a move. Riddima slowly takes baby steps towards the person.

Riddima : I am asking again better tell who are you ?

While walking and a person suddenly comes at her left side behind the door with a gun. Riddima looks at the person when the person pulls the trigger in a reflex riddima bends down and vansh comes inbetween her and the second person.

Second person( shouts ) surprise

Riddima looks at vansh who was holding Ruhi tightly in one hand hiding her in his chest and Ruhi was looking at rishi with a smile and vansh back was facing the second person.

Riddima looks at vansh face for any sign of pain but all he was giving was a puzzled expression.

Riddima looks back of vansh to see the second person was a girl who was holding a toy gun . the bullet hit vansh back but it was made of rubber.

Riddima lets out the breath she was holding till now she didn't even realize it she looks at vansh he was standing still looking at her thinking something

Vansh pov

As I reached my floor I rushed to my flat I heard some quarrelling sound in adajacent flat I took a look it was ishani with a bird weird I rushed to the door to see someone pointing gun at riddima from her side but riddima was looking at front my first instinct was run towards her riddima turned and the person fired riddima as a reflex bend down nice presence of mind but I was already inbetween her and the person. The bullet fired I was waiting for the impact but I felt none I was confused and was looking at riddima on the floor I recalled in my mind what actually happened as I recall the images I realized its a gun but not a real one its a toy gun I looked down at riddima who was looking at me I forward my hand for her to get but she already stood up

Riddima got up and looks towards the second person who was biting her tongue with her teeth realising her blunder.

Riddima : who are you ?

Vansh was also looking at person .

Person: sorry I am ...actually ....it is arnav house right ?

Vansh : who?

Person: arnav... this is his house

Riddima : he may be previous tenant

Vansh : but how did you get in?

Person : I used the key I mean house duplicate key used to be present in the back of door number by the way I am liza( pointing to herself)

Riddima : who is this?

Liza : she is nia aunty currently in prayers she is house owner mother she used to visit here sometimes even stay here whenever she wants

Riddima : but why didn't she reply

Liza : she wont stop her prayers in mid it never happened

Riddima : ohh

Vansh and riddima shared a look.

Riddima : I will check our contract papers

Vansh nods at her and riddima moves towards their room with a sleeping rishi. Vansh looked at liza who was looking at Ruhi without blinking. He noticed her eyes which had a longing.

Liza who was lost in Ruhi came out from her thoughts by vansh voice .
Ruhi was busy playing with vansh shirt buttons.
