Tomorrow camp would end,the great escape was in grasp.But not everyone was happy to leave.Especially Max,Neil,and Nikki.

"maybe...I...dont wanna leave"  I thought picking at the suspicious pancake on my tray with a fork.For my whole time here I've hated this place,I just wanted to escape,but now I don't think I ever wanna leave.Neil walked over to the table I was sitting at,following him was Nikki with a eager look on her face.They both sat down "I don't fucking believe it" Neil declared  "what,that quarter masters pancakes are made of squirrels" I joked."what- no I mean I can't believe camp is almost over,this summer felt endless but now that it has ended,I feel like we'll.....not be friends anymore" Neil said with a sighed and it got quiet.Nikki had already ate a whole pancake so she just stared and waited.Neil picked at his food and took a bite before spitting his pancake out."look we're friends no matter what...but..I kinda don't feel like leaving either" I slowly said with my head staring at my tray of almost untouched food."you good max?" Nikki said to me with a worried look "i'm fine" I answered as we grabbed our trays and threw the food away.By the time Breakfast was over I got nervous as I walked with Neil to our shared tent."you look nervous" Neil told me "wait--what....i-i'm not nervous at all" I stuttered."its fine if you're nervous,i'm kinda nervous too" he reassured me as we entered our tent."you're always nervous" I said in a serious tone.Neil sat on his cot and looked at my as I sat on mine."so.............." Neil started "so?"
