Yes, after what—four or so years?— I'm bringing Crystal and the multiverse back. Leaving the story unfinished has bothered me on and off again over the past years, but finishing it became a challenge. For one, I noted how my writing began transitioning from fanfic material to more... non-fanfic material— original stuff. I then resolved to reboot the multiverse in an original setting, reserving most of my original material for the reboot so it doesn't get tied to the fanfic world and saves some surprises if readers decided to still follow Crystal's story. But life happens, Sarah's story in Adventia took up my focus, and I never got around to it. Now, my being bothered at an unfinished story of mine has been brought back to the forefront of my mind [my thing with unfinished stories even became part of Omnistone, Chapter 39 where I mention 'abandoned' stories becoming Nixes realms]. I still plan on rebooting Crystal into original fiction, but in the meantime, I want to finish what I've started here in fanfiction. Who knows, it could help keep the creative juices flowing if I get stuck in Adventia.
