It's been three days since I left on the hunting trip. It was nice.
Just me, Lou, bandit and a nice warm fire.
I managed to earn 56 bucks which is Fairly great for a couple days work.
If I'm honest I could earn triple this amount in the day but considering I want to follow the law it makes everything much harder.

"Who's there?" Lenny asks raising his gun.
"It's me" I say as Lou barks at him.
"Settle down boy" I say patting his back as he huffs and lays down to sleep. His rope is tied in between the seats post and he doesn't seem to mind it.
Once I can trust he won't disappear then I'll let him off the rope but for now he's stuck to my side.

I park my cart back into the normal place and help Lou down before moving the rocks under the wheels and moving over to bandit.
"Good boy" I say patting his mane before pulling his tack off so he can go eat grass.
I catch sight of Hosea as I go to the back of the cart and grab my bed.
"Look who's back... and with guests I see" Hosea says noticing the dog.

"Right. Hosea this is Lou, my new best friend" I introduce as he smiles and scratches under the dogs chin.
"Beautiful puppy" he comments as I set up my bed on the floor.
"That he is. So, any gossip for me?" I ask.

"Arthur and a couple others managed to free sean yesterday and Arthur and Micah shot up strawberry on their way out of breaking Micah out of prison" he explains.
"Seems arthurs been busy" I joke as I grab a tall stick and stab it into the ground.
"Arthur... indeed he has" he says as I raise a brow.

"Why did you say it like that?" I ask.
"Well, while he was in camp he seemed distracted" he explains.
"Oh, that's odd" I say as he agrees.
"Maybe someone's just said something too him" I shrug.

"Sadie and mister Pearson have not been getting along lately. It's been quite amusing to watch" he says sitting down On a stump of a log.
"I can imagine. A badass feminist versus a man who's main social interactions in a day is with dead animals" I joke as he chuckles.

"So, why get a dog?" He asks as I shrug.
"I don't wanna be alone. Hunting was boring as it was, without Sam... I guess I just need someone, even if it's just a dog" I explain pulling my roof up.
"You won't be alone Lily. But a dog is a good choice, I'm happy for you" he says as I glance over at him to see a smile.

I smile back before looking back at what I'm doing.
"Gonna take him into town today, grab a few drinks" I say as he gives me a serious look.
"The dog? Into town? For drinks? Lily, one drink and your singing with the fairies" he points out.
"Good point" I say as I ruffle up lou's ears.

"I can take care of him if you want to go out tonight" he suggests.
"Really?" I ask surprised.
"Yeah, why not? He's a cute pup and your an extremely bored human, and that combo never seems to end well" he says getting up and walking over to the dog.

"Alright then, well it's afternoon now... thank you hosea" I say as I untie the knot and hand him the rope.
"No worries Lily, make sure you have a good night and be safe"
"Your the only person on this planet that can give me a father speech and I would generally listen" I joke as he pushes my hat down on my head.

"And you are the only person who I would baby sit a dog for, now go have fun!" He says waving me off from my bed.
"Alright, thank you again!" I call back as I waved me off.

"Who are you?" I hear an Irish accent as I put one foot in the saddle.
"My names Lillian hale, I take it your Sean" I say as I swing myself up.
"Ay, dutch told me of you, it's nice to meet you. You missed my welcome home party!" He says as he comes over to my side.

"My apologies, I was working" I say as he smiles.
"Your nice, I see why everyone says your arthurs favourite"
"They say that?" I ask.
"Indeed, they say because your kind and gorgeous" he says patting bandit as I chuckle.
"Are you flirting?" I ask as he smiles.
"Do you think I have a shot?" He asks as I laugh.
