Author's Note: The setting further into the chapter is in Poland (apologies for spoiler). The setting isn't exactly like it is real Poland, so I apologize for the people that live in Poland.
He pratically lived with the Hellsing family most of his life. At the age of sixteen,Walter was like a little killing machine with his wires at hand. Alucard was there to watch and help when he felt nice about it. The younger male would, sometimes, be short tempered about it. He would become foul mouthed as well when he did. Over all,the count knew that Walter wanted to kill him. This amused him very much. Alucard explained this to Integra. Shut up and get on with it, she snickered. So he did.
On the first day (officially) on the job, which was very unfortunate, Walter had waltzed into a case. Arthur Hellsing, Integra's father, was working on a case. The case wasn't an easy one as it dealt with World War II greatly. Nearly everyone knew about Hellsing Organizatio, but didn't know enough about their trump card, Alucard. "I can't say much about what will happen in the war, but before you interrupt me,Alucard, we will attempt to collapse the war,"Arthur informed, giving thw vampire a glance."so I will station you both in Warsaw,Poland."
And they were. It didn't take long to travel there,as they set up in a five star hotel. The view was beautiful at night, of course for Alucard. Walter huffed from the other side of the room. He was restless as the vampire could tell as he looked out the window and see Walter's faint reflection. His coffin lay in the middle of the room.taking up a majority of the space. Glancing over to Walter focusing out the window, Alucard gave a snide smirk. "The matter,Walter,"he said giving the young male a small scare. He shook his head and looked at the window again before meeting his red eyes. "Why do you ask,Alucard," he asked with a hint of sweetness as he said his name.
He raised his eyebrow as the vampire turned to face him directly. What exactly was Walter trying to get with that tone of voice? Messing with my mind, I suppose. "You seem tired. I suggest you get rest," Alucard answered. A stern 'no' sounded from Walter. Apparently he couldn't trust the vampire enough. This made Alucard grin. The chap was stubborn. The younger male excused himself as he had had enough as it was. Putting his gloved hands in his pockets, he moved next to the standing youth and paused. "I believe you are pushing yourself too hard."Aucard said lowly.
Brushing past the young butler, and removing his hands from his pockets, Alucard walked down the hallway and to the stairwell. He stopped just to listen for a moment or two. Everyone on the floor, except Walter was aound asleep. And a voice could be heard with the words, 'stupid bastard', followed by a loud thud. Walter is an amusing child,Alucard voiced to himself before exiting the stairs and down to the first floor.
............
It wasn't long before Alucard returned to the room. Trying to open the door,it was locked. Moving to the side, he passed through the walls. Walter was, of course, asleep on the chair. Chuckling to himself, the vampire grinned as he shuffled past to sit on top of his coffin. He wasn't going to sleep properly as he had to take of the youngster. Possibly won't be able to for the time they live in the crammed hotel room.
The sun began to rise and gleam just over Walter's hair. His bangs fell over his eyes. It slowly began to rise more and the light would expand across the room. Alucard's red eyes scanned over the sleeping boy. Starting from his messy, somewhat, long hair to his pale skin. His eyes continued down to the collar of his fine button down shirt. A neck tie hung loosely with a perfect knot. The tie went down and underneath his vest, which was nicely fitted and suited for him. A few buttons were undone. Finally, his eyes looked down at his pants. He,immediately, looked down at the floor. Standing up, Alucard moved toward the bedroom, then looked back to see Walter flutter open his blue eyes. He glanced out the window, then towards the vampire, which caught him off guard. "Have you been watching me sleep, you pervert," he snapped,"aren't you supposed to be sleeping as well?"
"Someone has tp take care of you,"Alucard replied so casually. This shut the kid up. Walter could've argued but held in the urge to. Stepping closer to the window, his hands shut the blinds and moved closer to the younger male. His hands reached down towards the armrests and wrapped his fingers around, making Walter sink into the cushions, "Now, I suggest that you clean your act up. We're going for a little walk,"Alucard growled.
..........
With his vest properly buttoned up,Walter tried to keep up with Alucard. His silvery gun was in a hidden pocket within his red overcoat. The count had his large red hat on with his round glasses on. They reached a large field with an old shack out in the middle of it. It was sort of an obvious place to tell that ghouls were here. Walking closer, there was dead bodies scattered everywhere. This matter was to be deakt with once it was darker, but not today.
"Why can't we figure out this case now," Walter questioned as they walked back to the edge of the city. Alucard didn't say anything. It was an artifical vampire. The ghouls could've stayed alive, most likely. It was Millenum starting to act and Alucard knew so, from prior information. "Because this case is just the beginning,"the vampire answered lowly.
