Veronicas pov

We pull back into the garage walking back into the house straight to my room

Danielle behind me clearly in awe

"Girl this is a different type of money how do they afford this?" While looking thru my closest and bathroom

"I have no idea I haven't got a chance to ask but I have some ideas"

"Like?"

"Nothing ..here change into this" I said knowing damn well it's organized crime

I gave her some athletic clothes and heels while walking onto the balcony to email my professor to ask for an extension and to call my club, since Ulysses decided to keep me from my laptop for so long and snatch me from my job

Danielles pov

*knock knock*

"Come in"

The man from the other night came in with a designer suite on looking more perfect than the last time I saw him he stood in the door way staring

"Helloooo is there something you need" I say holding my arm nervous as ever

"Oh yes of course I apologize I wasn't expecting you...I'm here to take you and Daniele to the space Ulysses arranged for you lady's"

"Yes of course give me a minute to change thankyou ummm?" I asked wondering why he knew my name and I didn't know his

"Jinhai...my name is Jinhai"

"Danielle ...but I think you already knew that" I say

"Yes I'm sorry I know this all must be really confusing for you...I don't know if you remember but I'm the one who brought you back to your apartment and I know this situation looks bad but please you can trust that you are in good hands"

"Why is all of this necessary, we were escorted in by heavily armed security, I was attacked and brought back to my apartment with no memory of the night before.....all the while Veronicas questions haven't been answered either"

"I'm sorry dear I can't answer your questions and I can only imagine how your feeling right now you must be so confused and scared I'm sorry my brother put you in this situation " he said running his hand down my cheek to my neck I became frozen too nervous to react...he drops his hand and turns to Veronica as she walks in from the balcony

"You aswell I apologize for his actions...present and future...."

With that he turns on his heel and exits the room waiting in the hall for us im assuming

"What was that" Veronica asks

"No idea"

Veronicas pov

After walking in and seeing Danielle with the other man from that night I was on high alert I'd rather die than have something happen to her

We finished getting dressed and had the man who Danielle later told me was named "Jinhai "
Escort us thru 2 French doors to a grand sun room with chandeliers suspended from the railings and a single chair in the front and mirrors on the walls and doors of the house inside the sun room

I guess it's time to get to work I connected my phone to the sound system and began re teaching myself the basics along with Danielle

Heavily breathing and falling to the ground exhausted I turned to Danielle
