"Hon, you're gonna be late" My mom shouted from downstairs.  "Do you have your bags packed?"

"Yes mom! We packed them yesterday remember!" I scream back down.  Sorry, hi my names Lilith, Lili for short.  This is my 1st year at Saint Joan's Academy.  A private school for good smart students, and although I'm a straight  A student, I never wanted to go to this school.  I wanted to go to the high school my mom went to, which was also the school my friends were going to.  But I couldn't miss out on going to the same school as James Hart.  So, even though it might be a boarding school, i basically had no choice.  I ran down the stairs and ate the food her mother had made for her.

"Are you sure you're gonna enjoy this school?" Emily-my mom-asked.

"Maybe." I reply, eating some toast.

"Come on! If you're doing this for James then you need to get over him!"

"I'll never get over him. He's the one. We have so much in common!"

"Except he has friends at the school. You don't."

I mumbles words that she could not understand, and finished my food. "I better head off. Can you drive me?"

"Of course!" Emily grabs her purse and coat and opens the door for me once she's all ready.

At the train station-

"Be good in school, try and make new friends, call me, write me and I'll see you on Thanksgiving." Emily gave a me a kiss on the cheek.

"I'll do all- almost all of them." I smile.

"Lili you need to make friends. How about you're roommate. You're gonna have to talk to her since you'll be living with her for.. 4 years."

I sigh "My trains gonna leave."

"Goodbye darling."

"Bye mom! Love you!" I pull my baggages in the train. 2 workers came up to me and took my bags. They made sure to put my full name on the bags so they could give it to me afterwards. I was one of the first ones on the train. James was one of the lasts. Lucky for me, I had a plan to make sure that James sits with me. And me only.

......................................................................

It's been an hour since I've been on this train. Finally, I saw James enter the train. I motioned him to come sit with  me.  When he noticed me, he smiled and walked over.

"Lili! Long time no see. I didn't think you'd be coming to this school!

"Yeah, you mentioned it last year and I was like 'that's such a good school! I should go!' And so here I am." I smile. "So how've you been? How was your summer?"

"It was a little insane, my parents threw multiple parties for me so that I could meet a girl. Aren't we only 14" James asked, sitting down laughing.

I laugh as well. "We are only 14! Why are parents sorting this out for us?"

"See, try asking my parents that!" He chuckled. "How about you, my love? How was your summer?"

"It wasn't as messy as yours, that's for sure!" I smiled when he laughed. "But yeah, it was eventful, I saw some family I haven't seen in a while, talked to friends."

"I admire how you have a normal life." He leans back.

"Well, I guess we all have our own unique ways of normal."

He sighs. "I suppose your right." After a while, some girl walks up to us.

"James! Hi it's been so long!"
