"I don't want to be British!"
The 10 year old boy wailed to his mother as he watched her packing up his toys into a box.
The mother couldn't help but laughed at her son's cries. "You're not going to be a British person honey, we're just moving to England", she assured.
"But that's where British people lives!"
"Jisung, you were born a Korean and will always be a Korean even when we move to another country"
Jisung blinked his glossy eyes and looked up to his mother. "So I won't be British?"
"No! Of course not", she laughed and continued on packing all of their belongings with the help of her husband.
The three of them are going to start a new life in London, England because of the boy's father's occupation, meaning new house, new school, new friends and new people.
He has lived all of his ten years old life being surrounded by his own kind of people, Korean with black hair, black or dark brown eyes.
He used to think of the foreigners as aliens, someone or something that was unfamiliar to him.
Thinking back at how childish and stupid he was just a year ago made Jisung chuckled slightly. "Penny for your thoughts?", he heard his mother said.
"No, it's just.. I remembered how I was so against moving here last year"
His mother chuckled along with him and agreed. "See? It's not that bad here and you are still the Korean that you are"
Jisung couldn't really agree with his mother's sentence. Though, life haven't been the same for him as he now doesn't have any friends like he used to back in Korea and his broken English doesn't help him with them either.
Still, he is excited to start a new year of school since he is the type of person who loves to learn new things, especially in a new environment.
But fate has another plan for him as his parents had just registered him to a new school, a letter mail arrived to the house.
"Mom! There's a letter for- Me..?"
The 11 year old boy halted in his steps as he saw his name printed, or more like written, on the mail.
Not waiting for his mother, the boy eagerly ripped the mail open and took the letter to read it himself because he has never gotten a mail before.
"What is it honey?", his mother asked as she came out from the kitchen. "Who is that from?"
Jisung didn't answer and let all of his attention be put onto the new received mail.
It looked somewhat ancient with the brownish color and the fancy fonts that looks like it was written by someone. Overall, this letter looks like it is some kind of a joke.
"From.. Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry..?", his mother took the letter into her hands and read it out. "What kind of nonsense is this...", she mumbled.
The young boy who still believe that magic exist in the world had his eyes brighten at the word witchcraft and wizardry. "A magic school?"
"No, someone must have been playing around with us honey, there's no such schools exist here"
"Read the letter first mom! What does it say?", Jisung asked, still not giving up. He can't just let his hope fade away like this when he already got so hyped up.
He heard his mother sighed before complying to his request.
"Dear Mr. Han, we are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted to Hogwarts School Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment"
