Hello there! I hope you enjoy this story, but please don't copy it, alright? If you do, then I will send your horrible nightmares out to kill you. (Yeah, nice going, scaring them with your first sentence @/me) ^_^
This is (kind of) my first story so I'm sorry if there are any grammatical errors. Well, I think that is all I have to say. Goodbye for now~-----------------------------
RRRIIIINNNGGG!!!
"Class dismissed," our teacher said, instantly starting a rampage of students eager to get out of school and start the weekend with whatever their crazy young minds can think of.
As usual, my friends and I are the last group to pile out of the classroom. "Hey guys, let's hang out at Sky's place," my best friend, Josh, said which earned him a glare from me. It's not that I hate having my friends over, it's just that they frequently do it unexpectedly. There was one time when my mom let them in while I was asleep and sent them up into my room to wake me up, which is something that no family member ever let unless they want someone to end up with a serious injury. Still, they don't mean it as a bad thing, so I forgive them for it.
"I can't, man. My aunt is over at my house and she wants to have the whole family there to hear her stories so I'm kinda in a hurry, wouldn't want her to have a nag-fest," Derick said with a salute goodbye before turning around and walking away. Josh frowned at that while turning to Sasha to ask her. Before he could say anything, Sasha shook her head, "Sorry guys, but I can't. You know my parents, they want a notice or an advanced warning before we go somewhere."
At that, the frown on Josh's face deepened, "Are you sure that you can't just call them and tell them on the way?" Sasha shook her head with a pout. "It's okay," I said and smiled, "I totally understand your parents, I wasn't informed about this too," I continued with a glare directed at Josh. He smiled innocently at us. Sasha laughed and hugged us saying goodbye.
After she left, both Josh and I started walking towards the doors. We continued out the doors and towards the sidewalk, venturing on the same direction. At the same pace. At the same time. I looked at him, annoyed, "Why are you following me? You really want to go to my house? What are you, a stalker?" He looked at me, fake shock and hurt clear on his face, "Me? Your stalker? Dude," he placed his hand on his chest right by his heart, dramatically, "You think that I, your most handsome and manly best friend, am gay?"
"Yes," I deadpanned.
He looked at me darkly, and that was when I sprinted with all the speed that my short legs could give me. I could hear him sprinting after me, feet pounding on the cement. He shouted, "I'm gonna get you for that!" "Not this time!" I replied, which was quickly followed by his evil laugh.
This was kinda normal for us, teasing during the short travel to get home; we ARE neighbors anyways. The neighborhood already knew who we were, and didn't mind us running around, as long as we don't cause trouble.
I made a quick turn into an alley and he continued to go straight down the street. I continued through and out as quickly as I could, but then I ran into a group of girls right by the exit. I stopped in front of them to give them a quick wink then continued to sprint my way home. I heard the girls giggle as I sped off.
When I got to my house, I saw Josh panting on the the porch waiting for me. As I neared, he said, "Hey hotshot, I saw you with those girls." I smirked, "So?" I slowed down, panting when I got to him. He smirked, jabbing his thumb to his chest, "I saw them first."
We stopped panting and glared at each other, intimidating each other as if we owned the girls in mind. This was easily replaced by us laughing our butts off on the porch, until my brother opened the door and stared down at us on the floor, "What the heck did you two do now?" Managing to get my composure back, I stood up and forced Josh to his feet.
Wiping my sweat, I gave Sage my most innocent grin, "We didn't do anything," I said, feigning the sweetest voice I could muster. Sage stared at us sternly but before he could reply, grabbing Josh, I pushed past him and dragged ourselves up the stairs and into my room as quick as we could.
