to mars 'makayla' and jupiter 'zendaya' williams, their lives seemed like one long chain of tragedies flavored by the sweet smell of trouble and disaster, giving them the unpleasant and overwhelming feeling that wherever they went, something bad might occur. or was it the case for everyone in greenbank? the town that, in contradiction to its pretty and lovely name, had nothing to do with a landscape dotted with greenery and peace. 

it started with the simple words "lost children found dead", then "young man stabbed to death", "bank robbery" . . . and finally, it became a daily occurrence to hear such stories, almost being a sort of entertainment for the crowd rather than a tragedy.

but the worst thing would be to be a victim or witness of such horrors: you kept a vivid trace in your memory, drawn in blood red, haunting you, tormenting you, and that's exactly what had happened to the williams sisters, when one day, the older sister jupiter convinced mars (also named m&m or double m) to join her at a party with her friends on the occasion of her recent graduation. a party, that quickly turned into a disaster when several teenagers were found murdered in cold blood. 

after a while, they've decided, with a group of their friends, to go on a little roadtrip and adventure, in order to let go of all the trauma these events left on each of them. and it was all chill ad fun until they got into a freaky accident that almost cost them their lives. the group ended up in beacon hills, a town even stranger than greenbank, where it was about supernatural beings, werewolves, packs and other shit the teens couldn't comprehend.
