Chapter 18: Nightmare

Y/n POV

I put medicine on Ivy's fingers and she flinches every time I press the cotton on her wounded fingers

"What happened?"

I asked as I felt my guilt build up when I saw marks on her neck, Ivy stayed silent and pressed her lips on my lips

"Nothing serious, just got in trouble"

Ivy smiled and sniffled, I furrowed my brows and cupped her cheeks

"Should I give you space?"

I asked and Ivy stared at me in horror

"Don't leave, I won't do it anymore... don't go"

Ivy began to cry and I wiped her tears and kissed her forehead

"Are you willing to change for me? I won't leave you if you do"

I smiled and Ivy nodded her head while sniffling

I know it's not the truth and I'll eventually leave you in the future... I'm really sorry

"Promise?" I asked and she held my hand and kissed it

"I promise"

She smiled and I kissed her eyes and she sighed in relief then rested her head on my shoudler

"No sleeping with other girls anymore, okay? And we'll find you a new therapist"

I mumbled and Ivy nodded her head while holding my hand securely, I sighed and smiled at her behavior

I'm glad she's not difficult today

"Y/n, I want to go to bed with you"

Ivy whispered and I furrowed my brows at her

"Ivy, I'm not in the mood for sex"

I huffed and about to stand up but Ivy held my hand

"N-No, I just want to cuddle"

Ivy stammered and her expression was a pleading one, I sighed in relief and made her stand up

"Let's go"

I smiled and Ivy walked slowly, she then laid on the bed and opened her arms, I also laid and she buried her face on my neck

"It's still early to sleep"

I mumbled and Ivy hummed in response, minutes later I heard her soft snores

I then touched the mark on her neck and bit my lips

"Was it your Father again?"

I whispered and kissed her forehead

This is the Ivy that I want... the old one.

Ivy POV

When I fluttered my eyes open, Y/n was nowhere to be seen

I immediately sat up and tried not to panic

"Y/n? Y/n where are you?!"

I got off the bed and ran to the living room to only see Y/n and Sena kissing, they pulled away and Y/n turned to me a smirk

"Ivy, let's end this relationship-"

"No, NO!"

I cried out but all of a sudden, I gasped awake and Y/n was there sitting up with a worried expression

I began to sob and held on her

"Ivy, it was a nightmare... I'm here"

Y/n whispered and I lifted my head to see her smiling softly

"Don't go... I'm sorry I won't do it again"

I sniffled and buried my face on her shoulder

"Ivy, calm down, I'm not going anywhere"
