The days went on without problems. Except by the continuous seatworks and tests our teachers kept on giving us. It's finally Friday and I haven't seen any harm towards Nate.

It's still the 2 quarter in our school year, yet it feels like we were at the 4th quarter.

They're always cramming us, giving us pop up test, and projects a day before the deadline. Ugh, teachers do love torturing their students.

Asides that I met Nate's friends, they're fun to be with but some needs some warming up to do.

It's a bit awkward at first, but after awhile, we finally had fun. I even met Phoebe and Andrea.

They're like polar opposites, Andrea is like an angel and is nice but her bestfriend Phoebe says the opposite. She is the true definition of a bitch.

Surprisingly, Me and Phoebe got along well. Not that Phoebe and I are alike but we get along.

Andrea and I got along pretty well too, but I can say that I become closer with Phoebe. She's fun to be with and is frank.

if she thinks you're weird, she'll tell you straight in the face that you came from the other planet.

If you asks her if you look okay, she'll tell you honestly that you don't look good.

She doesn't think highly of herself, and that's what I like about her.

I am at the bench at the side of the field with Phoebe and Andrea. We are watching the boys play basketball.

"Bradley really sucks at basketball, He'll never make it at the tryouts." Phoebe said while watching Bradley play.

Not gonna lie, he sure do suck at it. Even I who doesn't know how to play it can even play better than him.

"Hey, don't say that. He can still improve." Andrea said softly.

Andrea has this soft voice, this angelic voice that would make you fall at her. Even a simple smile would make boys go crazy at her.

"Improvement? Are you kidding me Andy? Bradleys been trying to since 4th grade. And look at him, acting all cocky when playing but can't even shoot for shit."  Phoebe answered.

Andy is Andrea's nickname, As far as I remember, Nate gave her that nickname when they were still young.

Speaking of Nate, He is at the side of the field resting. I watched him play, and I can say that he is really good at playing basketball.

I noticed a girl ran to him and gave him a drink. Nate smiled at him and thanked him. The girl ran away after that.

What do you expect? He is the president of the student government. He have a good reputation with everyone.

It's not like he is really popular that everygirl at the campus squeals everyone they see him. No, it's not like that.

It's not like when you approach him and talk to him, every other girl that sees it would chop you to pieces.

It's not like everywhere he goes there's a girl that tries to flirt at him.

It's not like that.

He is a normal student that everyone knows and some adores.

This is not your typical teenie story, no. We don't live the school in a very cliche way.

I stopped thinking when I saw everyone beside us, drinking water, resting and chatting with others.

"Hey Iris, Andrea planned to take us out and treat us. wanna join us?" Nate asked and I nodded.

"Sure, when?"

"Later, after Phoebe's practice." He told me, and I nodded.

I didn't told you, Phoebe's from the Running team. She attends races and marathons in the name of our school.

Phoebe's practice is finally done and we're just waiting for her to fix her things.

After fixing her things, we walked out of the school and went to the nearest mall.

"Since it's your treat, Andrea. Where do you want us to eat?" Bradley asked Andrea.

"We'll what do you want guys?" She asked nicely.

"A fast-food chain maybe?" Someone suggested and everyone agreed.

"I saw a newly opened KFC branch at the second floor." Nate replied.

"To KFC we go then." Phoebe said.

After a few moments we finally arrived at KFC. When we finished ordering, we all ate, sneaking in with some few laughs her and there.

Being with Nate is not that bad, and truthfully, today was one of the best Friday of my life.

After treating us everyone decided to go home, and since Nate need protection, I followed him to his home.

We bid our goodbyes and I walked my way to my home.

What a fun week.
