She knew she couldn't get hold of even a small fraction  of what her brother had, LOVE. Something she was deprived of. Something she has been seeing others had, something she expected from her family. Laya was an oddball in her home. her mother cared, her father didn't do much just a few nods and tilt of the lips was all she ever got from him. Her brother, her other half, her twin who she expected to be there for when there's no light, didn't know when she was around, even if he did he subtly knew she existed and acknowledged her as a blood relative.

I knew I couldn't....I just didn't see anything beyond a certain stage in life and thought there was nothing else, what does that mean? I don't know. Do I have to be there? Will it matter? I twirled the small delicate flower stem between my fingers, watched as how the petals circled around and each one swaying along my finger's movement. That was my life, just flowing around and swaying along with whatever went on. It didn't matter anymore. I was at the place where I could see the ground end only a few inches ahead.

Be known to your mind,

Sing like the wind silent,

Move along and flow with my stream,

I'm here all along,

waiting for my love...

She  hummed to herself the words she has always known, the words she constantly reminded herself, the words that kept her breathing. She opens her eyes to grey green swirl and stares at it as it kept blinking right above her as she lay on the grass, she chuckled at him.
