This is happening right after our lovely Navier meet our girl, Lebetti

3rd person POV

Right after the tea everyone left the Empress and her ladies-in-waiting alone
It was currently late-afternoon ,about 4 pm.
She was sitting on her bed reading a book
When she felt really sick to the stomach
She didn't think much of it
Because she thought it was from stress
Which she felt on daily basis
But then she felt REALLY sick
She quickly got off the bed and rushed to the bathroom and started puking
She heard someone rushing outside of her room then a voice shouting

- SOMEONE GET THE IMPERAL DOCTOR HER MAJESTY IS ILL ! - she heard a female voice yell
Which she was guessing, was Countess Eliza

Her majesty looked up and saw Laura, looking REALLY worried
She wasn't suprised at that fact, Laura was always quite protective of her
Countess Joubert and Laura helped the (GODDES) Empress get on the bed
Her highness felt terrible
She rarely got sick and when she did, she usually hid it from everyone, focusing on her work as the Empress
Countess Eliza was already there looking really stressed
Can you really blame her ?
Her friend/Empress was sick and that was a RARE sight to see
Then the doctor rushed in throught the door and was ready to examine her majesty

Time skip

- Your majesty I have some great news ! - the doctor said happily while sitting on a stool next to Empress's bed

- What is so great about her majesty being ill ?! - Laura said flustered while standing on the other side of the bed

- Well, her majesty is pregnant ! Congratulations your majesty ! - The doctor raised his voice a little bit with excitement

Everyone went silent
Wasn't her majesty infertile ?
Well turns out she's not.

- Could you please tell his majesty about this ? - Countess Joubert said upon seeing Navier's still kinda shocked face standing, right by the end of the bed while coming closer to the doctor

The doctor slightly nodded stood up and bowed before walking up to the door and leaving

- Your majesty that is incredible ! Not only a heir to the throne will be born but also the WHOLE attention will be on you, and not on the concubine ! - Laura yelled in excitement not daring to say the mistress's name ,while getting closer to her majesty

- Laura don't yell, we need to make sure that her majesty is not stressed and yelling is not gonna help, the stress is bad for the baby. - Joubert said calmly

- I'm fine girls, I'm just kinda in shock for now but I will calm down soon enough - said Navier

The three nodded their heads

But soon enough all the ladies went outside fetching for some things ,for her majesty

Navier looked down at her stomach and smiled

- I'm gonna be a mother... - she thought

In the Meantime with Sovieshu and (T)Rastha

The doctor asked for time with Emperor right now and he said that it was about the Empress
Sovieshu trying to not apper like a bad husband accepted
Sovieshu was sitting at his desk while the mistress was standing next to him
Then the doctor walked in

- Good evening your majesty the Emperor and Lady Rastha - said the doctor quite happily because of the news

- I hear you have some information about the Empress, what are they ? - said Sovieshu quite suprised

I mean if someone went to the doctor it would be most likely bad news
Right ?

- Well her majesty the Empress is.... pregnant, congratulations your majesty ! - said the doctor excited

Then the doctor bowed and left the room leaving the couple shocked

Sovieshu thought that the Empress was infertile
And Rastha was told that her majesty was infertile and that the she would have to adopt her child

Then Sovieshu face turned from shock to happiness
And for Rastha ? Terror.

Shovieshu was of course happy because he didn't have to divorce the Empress to have a heir

Rastha like I said was diffrent
She was thinking that she would get kicked out
But then she reminded herself that the child that she's carrying in her belly is still Sovieshu's first born which kinda calmed her down but then..
She thought about the nobels
They will know who is the heir to the throne
They will treat her child diffrently

The worst part about it ?

Even thought she thought the Empress is infertile if she would still have a child they would have a big age gap so the nobles will treat the children about the same atleast to the point where the heir would become the Empress/Emperor
But now there would be about only 5 month diffrence between them

Which meant that Navier's child would be way more important then her's

The Emperor called one of his guards and told him to spread the news because a party will be held because of this occasion

Who knew that Navier's child will quite the Princess/Prince to be hold...
