Chapter Thirteen

Three Years Later.

Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA.

Dojin gets off the subway and is accosted by two passengers. He stops briefly to listen, then continues on his way without comment.

Dojin attending a Harvard University law class. He participates.

One of his friends persuades him to go to a party, where he mostly keeps to himself.

It’s only when a senior spit in a junior’s glass and tries to force him to drink it does Dojin defends his classmate by citing the laws that would punish the senior for assault, but this only enrages the senior further as he throws the tainted drink in Dojin’s face.

Dojin downs half a bottle of beer and uses the bottle to hit the senior in the head, calling it self-defense. He easily fends off any other attackers with a few well-placed kicks before challenging anyone else who’s willing to come at him.

Bangkok, Thailand in  Police Academy,

Bodie and Eeyore all their classmate running in their police uniforms. They talk about having drinks later and how their trainer is a really scary guy. They wonder why they are running and then they talk about what they want to do as police cadets.

A whistle blows to stop running and run in place instead of their trainer of the violent crimes division hells them to run without stopping.

"How can he kick one of us out? They start to talk about how they studied for two years to be police, how can he kick us out?" All of them start talking and he is just bluffing.

The trainer tells them to run in place and starts walking in between all the lines and around the side of the lines and everywhere as he stares at them all.

The trainer asked Eeyore "What is the mission?" Eeyore says "He will work hard," but the trainer says that means he came without a mission.

Now they repelling off the side of a building. If they fail then they will get a points deduction.

They continue on their first day of exercises, now it is shooting practice.

They are now in the canteen of Dojin's video call.

"What happened to you?" Dojin's concern. "We're just training. How are you doing for the bar exam?" Bodie asked Dojin. "It's okay, then next week I'll go home. What do you want to meet?" Dojin asked and they said what they wanted to do to Dojin.

"Bodie, is there any news on Archie yet?" Dojin asked he just sighed.

"I'm sure Archie is only in Paradise Village until now. I'm worried about him. That's not how our friends will call and message us. Then have you gathered any leads from Reverend John," Dojin asked and Eeyore replied? he asked.

"The influence of Paradise Village in the province and the neighboring town is so wide that the influence of Reverend John is fortunate that our family is not included in the members of Paradise Village," Eeyore told Dojin.

Archie worked in Paradise Village’s kitchen with many other members, all of them silent.

Archie watches his friend Tian eat his meal when he finishes his work.

Later, Reverend John announced that Archie become a goddess.

His parents were happy because Archie was his choice of Reverend John.

"Life is a road full of twists and turns," Reverend John would have hugged him when he pushed it.

"You're such an evil man," Archie said and his mother slapped him for his lack of respect for Reverend John.

"I'm not marrying him!" his father slapped him and his mother apologized for what he had done.

"There was an evil spirit that whispered to him that he would reject me," Reverend John told his parents, and Archie was hit in the back by all fellowship members to go away from the evil spirit that Reverend John told them.

"I don't possess an evil creature because I still clearly think I won't marry him!" the evil they think of Archie is that he is the worst person.

"Holy Father forgive him he doesn't know what he's saying," his mother cried and his father almost kissed Reverend John's foot.

He could no longer understand his parents, no one was listening to his parents but Reverend John.

"Until when are you going to live your life like this? I kept wishing that we would get out of here, How can you call this a place of Utopia?!" His father slaps him hard across the face but seems to instantly regret it. Archie just says they are crazy to stay here before imploring everyone in the room to come to their senses as well.

"You are fighting against the will of Spiritual God. You are so bad that you don't even remember your sister Rose," said his mother, making him angry.

"Don't include Rose, you and Paradise Village are the ones who did why my sister die!" his mother slapped him and called him a slave of evil.

All the followers of Paradise Village look down on him including his parents. Even though he wanted to leave, he could not.

"You all just like them," Archie tells his parents and doesn’t flinch.

His parents share a round of praising Spiritual’s God while Archie realizes now his parents needed help because he no longer knew them, parents. Archie looks truly and utterly broken.

He was taken to the prayer room.

In the three years he has been in Paradise Village he has seen much evil in Reverend John.

It is written in his diary and he also has a video diary. Even without an internet connection in Paradise Village, he can still use his laptop.

Then the book of his friend Tian, ​​an undercover journalist, tells him.

Reverend John had many rules but only he and Tian disobeyed them.

He sees his mother having sex with others and so does his father.

Sometimes look the women are naked from young to old, just to serve Reverend John while the female followers are happy with what they are doing when he thought that, he wanted to burn Reverend John alive.

Later, the door opened and he saw Sister Mary.

"Brother Archie, Holy Father calls you," he exited the room.

He was already in Reverend John's office and his parents were also there.

"What do you want to tell me?" Archie asked and Reverend John said that he was destined to be Reverend John's wife and he couldn't escape that.

He walked out when he saw Tian.

They walk through the woods as they are isolated shack where they can hear a woman yelling and struggling inside. As they look through the window while filming with his phone the screaming continues,

Suddenly, the door bursts open as a woman in a dress runs out Brother Peter comes out as well, fastening his pants then Brother Peter he takes the poor woman's eye and is even stabbed by Brother Peter.

Tian covered his mouth because it was the first time he had seen a man.

He saw how happy Brother Peter was as he stabbed and took the woman's eye.

They just waited for Brother Peter to come inside and they escaped.

"Nong'Archie, be brave. Our enemy is a monster. We must help your family and all the members of Paradise Village," Tian said.

"P'Tian, I'm scared," Archie said as Tian held his hand.

"When Nong'Archie you have to fight your fear to succeed upright," Tian said to Archie and he nodded.
