Despite trying so hard, she felt that she has lost him. Ariba's fear was turning into a reality. Ariba eventually started realising that her self-respect was more important than his friendship. Ariba decided to stop texting him.
One day, Ariba fell sick. As soon as Ahaan got to know through her sister (his sister-in-law) about her health, he texted her on Facebook again! Ariba felt quite happy and had this hope that he will be back in his life and the beautiful journey of friendship would begin again. Alas, it never happened.
A small text from him made her feel happy and at the same time she was disappointed when he ignored her.
Ahaan confessed his feelings about her to one of his friends (Sarim)
Sarim told Ariba about the matter. Ariba was startled. He never confessed his feelings directly to her but he thought that Ariba felt the same for him. Unfortunately, it wasn't the same from her end. ALL THAT SHE NEEDED WAS FRIENDSHIP. Ahaan got annoyed and decided to end friendship with Ariba. The reason was that Ariba denied being anything more than a friend to him. (Though she had some sort of affection for him)
Their sweet friendship was hanging there, left all alone. Ariba visited Mumbai during vacation and saw her best friend (Ahaan). They had to pretend like as if they were strangers. Yes, they became strangers but this time with memories.
Ahaan continued to ignore her.
Ariba felt frustrated and wanted to know if he is truly willing to be her friend anymore. Whether he actually cares about their friendship bond. So Ariba texted him
The conversation:
Ariba: Hey, How are you?
Ahaan: Hello, I'm good. What about you?
Ariba: I'm fine. Thank you.
Can i ask you something?
Ahaan: Sure.
Ariba: Do you still care about me and our friendship?
Ahaan: NO
Ariba was shocked after seeing his reply. She never expected him to turn out like this. She was shattered by his reply. Losing his friendship felt like a great loss for her.
