{Chapter 3}

The next morning, my body felt very strained. I was still laying in bed while stretching my arms out.

I groaned when I felt how tense I was. This just has to happen right now?

I attempted to get out of bed but failed and fell over on my face.

I won't let this stop me from going to school today. I began stretching for a total of 30 minutes. Luckily school started 2 hours later today, so I have enough time to get myself together.

After I was finally able to walk, (sort of, I was kind of limping a bit) I took a hot shower to relax my muscles. It worked a little bit, because I was hardly limping anymore.

I changed into my uniform and tied my hair into a bun.

I looked in the mirror at myself, and realized how much healthier I looked, despite being sore.

I came to the conclusion that the reason I was so tense is because of overuse of my quirk. My body still has to adapt to using it more.

It will just take time. After being satisfied with this answer, I went to Ochako's dorm.

I knocked on the door and when she opened it, she looked like she hadn't woken up yet.

"Y/N?" She asked while yawning and I laughed.

We ended up getting ready together and even talking about crushes a little bit. (Wink)

I sat criss-crossed on her bed while holding a pillow in my lap.

"So how are things going with you and Deku?" I asked her.

She started blushing a bit and I giggled.

"Well, I'm not really sure if he likes me back or not." She said.

"HUH? Are you being serious? He is head over heels for you!"

"You really think so?" Ochako smiled.

"Yep!"

Then there was a knock on her dorm door.

"Come in!" She said.

Deku stood outside the door.

"Do you guys wanna get breakfast with me and Todoroki before class?" He asked.

"That sounds like fun!" I said and Ochako nodded in agreement.

We decided to go to a small diner that was very close to UA.

While we were walking to the table, my hand touched Shoto's. I know that seems like no big deal, but it got me flustered as hell!

I sat next to him while being across from Ochako and Deku.

"What are you guys going to order?" Shoto asked.

"I think I'll get a strawberry crepe." I smiled.

"That sounds delicious!" Deku said.

After a little while, our food came. Of course, I finished my food awfully fast.

I then felt a wave of tiredness wash over me. I don't think my body has fully recovered yet.

I then felt myself drifting off to sleep.

Third person POV:

Y/N's head fell onto Shoto's shoulder. He looked to his side and saw you fast asleep.

He felt his cheeks getting slightly warm.

Ochako and Deku were whispering mischievously about it across the table.

Why would she fall asleep? Did she not get enough rest last night? Shoto thought.

It then began to rain outside.

"Well that's a problem.." Deku said.

"We'll have to walk through the rain I suppose, but what about Y/N?" Ochako asked.

"I can carry her back to UA, it's only across the street after all." He stated.

"Hmm, Shoto are you sure you don't feel a certain way about Y/N?" Ochako teased.

"What do you mean?" He asked obliviously.

Deku started giggling.

"Do you like her?" She asked.

Shoto then realized what she meant and his face became flushed.

"Um, I'm not sure how to respond to that.." he said softly.

Ochako and Deku started laughing while Shoto looked at Y/N.

She looked peaceful resting on his shoulder. He for some reason longed for more instances like this with her.

"We should get going now" Deku said.

Shoto carried Y/N whilst Ochako held up a large umbrella for the four of them.

When they got back to UA, Shoto volunteered to bring you to your room.

He layed you on your bed and attempted to wake you up.

"Y/N?" He asked softly.

You mumbled something in your sleep but didn't wake up.

He sighed and was about to turn towards the door when you wrapped your arms around his torso. You leaned your face into his back yet still remained asleep.

Shoto, who was kneeling next to the bed, was blushing like a mad man.

Then with such force, you hauled him into the bed with you and snakes your arms around him once more.

You cuddled your face into his chest while he laid there in shock.

Eventually, he gave in and wrapped his arms around you as well. He wrapped one arm across your body, holding you against him, and the other snaked into your long hair.

He began to drift off into sleep whilst holding you close.

Ochako and Deku went to check on you guys and found them cuddling each other while asleep.

Ochako started fangirling and Deku had to hush her so you guys didn't wake up.

They decided to tell Aizawa sensei that Y/N caught a cold from the rain and Shoto was tending to you.

While in reality, you two stayed in each other's comforting embrace for the rest of the day.
