Serenity, a word in which means calm and peace, if only that was how young jay yu-jun felt as she lay sprawled across the bloodstained kitchen floors. Another beating, she was getting sick of being treated like a punching bag. But what was she to do? She couldn't leave her sister, and she was in too much debt to leave, let alone provide for two people.
Over one billion won was what she owed. She'd built up that sum of money while trying to raise money for her and her sister, obviously that didn't go to plan...
If she just had the money she and jung could leave, make a life of their own. But alas, dreams are just figments of the imagination.

Slowly lifting herself off the ground, jay looked out the window at the darkened sky. It was pouring with rain.

Great, she had shit to do today.

Walking to the front door she grabbed her bag and her pocket knife off of the table and got ready for a long day of 'work' if you'd even call it that. Not bothering to check her appearance she combed a hand through her hair tangled long hair and straightened out her clothes.
It was early, just hitting 5:30 in the morning, so jay took extra care not to wake her sleeping sister.

Making sure she had everything she grasped the pocket knife, one of her most prized possessions. It was given to her buy a girl... A beautiful girl... She could not recall why the knife was given to her but what she did remember was her bright brown eyes and devious smirk. And her name, the most beautiful name a girl could have....

Sae-byeok.

One thing Jay yu-jun knew for certain was that she was going to find that girl some day. She didn't know how, and she didn't know when, but she was. And when she did. She is going to repay the favor.

Shaking her head to get rid of the spiraling thoughts of a mysterious girl, Jay stepped out of the house and into the pouring rain.

Time to get to work.

——————————————————

By the time yu-jun was finished with her 'work' it was mid afternoon, by this time the sky had cleared and the sun was shining brightly. Everything looked so peaceful, so serene.
Taking a deep breath of much needed fresh air Jay shoved her hands deep into the pockets of her jeans and started walking towards the nearest park. She just needed some time to relax.

Sitting on the closest bench to her, Jay shuffled through her bag and pulled out a medium sum of won. Her earnings for that week.
You see, Jay yu-jun hates what she has to do, but seeing as it's the only thing she can do to provide for her sister, she was stuck. And the unwanted fact was she was hella good at it too.

Jay yu-jun was a criminal. A Robin Hood of sorts. Known in her small town for stealing from the rich and giving to the poor. It was difficult yes, but rewarding. Earning a little over 500,000 won a week. By Friday she would head down to the little poverty sector of her town, sharing half of it equally between the poor souls.

So lost in her own thoughts Jay didn't notice the odd (quite attractive may I add) man sit quietly on the bench, Until he spoke up.

"Miss, may I have a word?" The unknown mans voice startled her out of her stupor. Looking up she gave him a slightly strange look but nodded none the less. "I guess so? But I'm not looking for a good time if that's what your after." The man laughed at this, smiling widely.

"Oh I could show you a good time, but unfortunately that's not why I'm here" Jay raises her eyebrows in surprise, this man was very straightforward. She could tell.

"Geez man, keep it in your pants okay? I don't have time for this, I have to get home to my sister."
Sexy suit man (that's what she decided she would name him) nodded at this, pulling his briefcase out infront of him and clicking the sides up with his thumbs.

"Would you like to play a game with me?"

This got her attention.
Turning to the man with a sly smile she nodded.
"Okay then Mr, what's the game? And more importantly what's in it for me?"
Jay didn't mean for her words to come out so harsh, but if she was going to play a game, there had to be a bounty.

The man opened his briefcase and faced it towards the girl. Displaying the large amount of money neatly stacked in the case. "Your familiar with ddakji aren't you?" The young girl looks between the two colored squares, thinking back to the times her mother used to play with her. Before the accident of course.

"I know the game, what's the catch?" Jay was skeptical but she was always up for a challenge...
"Well each time you win I'll pay you 100,000 won, and each time I win you'll pay me the same amount." Seemed harmless enough...

"Alright I'll play"

picking the red ddakji square she was ready to play, until the man spoke up... "May I have the red square miss? I feel like you need the blue square more then me..."
Well that's weird.
But a hot man in a suit man sitting next to you at the park offering you money to play a game was also a little strange, so Jay just shrugged it off and switched the two colors. Now officially ready to play the game.

——————————————————

Half an hour in and Jay yu-jun hadn't earnt shit. Oh and she forgot to mention that every time she lost she was slapped. In the face. Hard. She was used to being thrown around, punched and kicked but this man had a way of piercing your skin so hard your eyes instinctively pooled with tears, it was kind of hot. But she was in to much pain to even register anything other than the red hot searing pain coming from the right side of her face.

Finally having enough with this game Jay threw the blue ddakji card down, not bothering to look where it landed and huffed. Closing her eyes and rubbing her cheek.
Soft clapping was heard moments later, only for Jay to open her eyes instinctively and peered down at her feet. Seeing that in her fit of rage she managed to flip the square, winning the game.

Jay squealed in delight running up and running into sexy suit mans arms, jumping up and down. Once realizing what she did, she instantly jumped off him, straightening out her clothes.

Looking up at the man before her she raised her hand ready to strike his beautiful face, but before she had the chance he stopped her, holding out the originally offered 100,000 won.

"Holy shit"
