Mindlessly roaming my eyes in the room I was in, I was rethinking my life decisions. Is it a factual or a fractal thing when people say: “good shall prevail over evil.” What a lame thinking it is. To me It’s such an inappropriate proverb. “Y/N” she barged in my room. Bellowing like a mad horse.
“Knocking before entering someone’s room is a basic etiquette and thought before any of your Princess duties.”
Rolling my eyes, I didn’t bother sparing her a glance. Why should I? Who even is she to me?
“Stop with your life lessons. I’m not interested in entering your cheap room either. Circumstances led me to come here. Stay away from King Jimin, he’s my fiance and my future husband.”
“Low lives like you don’t even deserve to breathe the same air like us. Be grateful he saved you and is even generous enough to provide you with shelter in his palace.”
Why would she see me as a threat if she’s engaged to him?
“I have no heed in your fiance I never will. He’s all yours to admire and do whatever you want with him. Now get out of my room. It smells like low life doesn't it? I don’t want your embroidered dress worth tons of gold smelling like me.”
She scoffed while walking out. This woman has sworn to make my days rougher. Give me strength and patience, Lord. Sighing, I decide to step out of my room. Three whole days in this room, with nothing but fruits to feed on.
Which I managed to pick up on my way back from that dramatic trial. And the introduction of this witchy Princess. Isn’t my life thriller than “Alice in Wonderland?”
Growling sounds of my stomach led me to hasten my steps towards the dining hall. Meeting Taehyung on the way. He wasn’t very fond of me I could say. None were in this palace. Seeing him smile at me shook my guts.
He’s probably happy because I’m no longer gonna stay by his best friend’s side. Jimin deserves someone better and that girl is here. So, he quit the cold shoulder that he always gave me. “How have you been, Miss Y/N, haven’t seen you around the palace lately?” He initiates the conversation.
“I’ve been quite good, and about my absence I’m an introvert and prefer to stay inside my room. I resigned myself off the royal post. Don’t want to end up behind bars for betraying the Kingdom.”
Laughing, I sit down on the seat. An eerie silence fell in the dining hall. Oh yeah, they would have heard my words.
“You did the right thing Y/N, people like you aren’t capable enough to handle such prestigious jobs.” Ah-rim mocked.
“Your right people like me aren’t deserving, because I’m worth much more. I'm not a nosey bitch like you showing off her wealth and fiance to everyone. Aren’t you one scaredy little bitch Princess Ah-rim? Threatening me to stay away from your fiance. Well guess what? Me and your fiance have nothing between us.”
“We never will. Yoongi is far better than him. In each and every aspect. Why would I choose rusted gold over embellishing diamond? Please, my standards ain’t that low. Visit Daegu someday and you'll see how prosperous and rich my Kingdom's people are.”
“We might have lost everything, that doesn’t account for Yoongi being obliterated from the remaining citizen’s hearts. I suggest you use your words wisely in front of me next time. I’m the future Queen of Daegu you're talking to afterall cheap Princess.”
“You stink of cockroaches by the way. With extra awful lasagna flavoured perfume. Is that even a scent to be used? Lame people lame choices. Now fuck off for I have better work to do than listen to your bitchy fuckery.”
