"Hermione, where is my shirt?" Called Ron from upstairs. "I don't know, just summon it!" Hermione called back.
She was busy making pancakes for Evie and Ollie.
Today Evie was starting at Hogwarts, and Ollie was in third year. Mia, their other child was seven, and couldn't wait to go to Hogwarts.
"Are you two finished packing yet?" Hermione asked her kids.
"Yep!" answered Evie. "Nearly!" Said Ollie. "well go finish it now, these pancakes will be done soon!" said Hermione.
Ron came thundering down the stairs, tying his tie. "Sorry I wasn't down here sooner, I'll help with pancakes if you want," he said, as Ollie ran upstairs to finish packing. "it's ok, thanks," replied Hermione. Ron smiled, and kissed Hermione. "Will I get Evie's trunk in the car?"
"Yes thanks!" Said Hermione.
Half an hour later, the family were on their way to the train station, Ron and Hermione in the front, Ollie, Evie and Mia in the back.
When they got to Kings Cross, they had ten minutes to spare. "Lets go!" Said Hermione. They got trolleys for the trunks, and then they went over to platform nine. "Ok, you ready?" Asked Ron. "Yeah!" Answered Evie and Mia together. Hermione and Mia went with Evie's trolley, and Rob followed with Rosie and Ollie, and Ollie's trolley.
"Wow!" said Evie, when they got into the platform. The scarlett steam engine was waiting there.
Ollie said a quick goodbye to his parents, then hopped on the train to find his friends, Hermione helping him to get his trunk and his owl on-board and onto a shelf.
"Bye! See you at Christmas Mum and Dad," said Evie excitedly. "Bye! see you then, we'll write to you lots!" Said Ron. "See you at Christmas, bye!" Said Hermione. Ron helped get Evie's things on the train and onto a shelf.
Mia said goodbye to Ollie and Evie, then she, Hermione and Ron waved until the train disappeared round a bend.
"They grow up so fast!" Said Hermione. Ron turned to her. "they do indeed," he said, and kissed her.
