M/n was sitting in his room, not knowing what to do. He had just called the number that was linked onto the card that the man from the subway had given him.

(A few minutes before)

As M/n's phone rings, he was looking at the number written on the card and the symbols behind it. He squeaked a bit in surprised as the phone finally answered from the other line.

"Oh, uh! Hello, is this number for the games?" M/n asked, the person behind the other line responded with "Yes, please state your full name and date of birth if you are interested to apply for the games." M/n got a bit excited and state his name. "M/n L/n, (month name), (day name), (year number)."

He waited for a response from the other line until they responded, "Okay, we have you in a spot for the games. We'll see you soon!" and M/n heard the sound of the phone hanging up.

'Soon?' M/n thought to himself before he shrugged it off.

(Present)
M/n was just waiting for another phone call until he finally passed out on his bed, unaware of what was going to happen that eventful night.

M/n woke up to the light shining infront of his eyes. He groaned as he was about to roll off his supposed "bed", instantly regretting that idiotic action.

M/n fell onto the concrete-like floor until he realized, 'Where the hell am I?!' he thought to himself. He heard chatters of many voices around him until he heard the voice of a man. M/n finally opened his eyes and adjusted to the light as he saw someone above him. "Are you okay?" Asked the man, M/n acknowledged the man's features and looked at his tag number, "456.." M/n spoke softly.

"Are you okay??" repeated the man, who was concerned for the boy infront of him. "Yea, yeah I'm fine." Said M/n as he looked around, he looked to the man infront of him and asked "Where are we, sir?" The man looked around with him and responded with "I'm not sure myself, but do you need a hand?" as the man reached a hand out to the boy infront of him.

M/n took his hand and 456 lifted him up. M/n thanked him quietly and asked "What's your name, if you don't mind me asking?" to the man infront of him. The man hesitated but just gave him his name "Seong Gi-hun, what's yours?" 456 said and asked.

"My name is M/n L/n, nice to meet you" holding his hand out for a hand shake. Gi-hun took the boy's hand and shakes it while smiling a bit. They both were headed to the middle until they both came across a elderly counting the amount of players in the huge room.

Gi-hun asked the old man "Excuse me sir, what are you doing?" The old man responded with a slight aggressive response "Stop talking to me or I lose count." and continued to whisper the number of players he counted. Gi-hun realized what he was doing - "Ah, you must be trying to count how many of is there are, is that right" - the old man responded - "That's right. So could you stop talking to me for a while??"

M/n just stared at them going back in forth and just decided to head over to the middle without 456. He heard laughing and then a thud coming from there and he rushed over. M/n saw a lady on the floor with a man standing over her.
