Nobody had said a word. It was if the night that the two Slytherins opened their hearts to the world never even happened. Except it did, and all four of them knew that. It was a secret to them, a secret that would forever be on the forefront of their minds no matter how softly they tiptoed around it. No words may have been used to talk about it, but looks, feelings, touches reminded them that it wasn't just a distant memory or a cruel dream. It happened, and they all knew that.

But what Clover didn't know was that it wasn't just her and George that had a secret waiting to be spilled. So when she opened the storage room door at work and her eyes fell on the sight in front of her, the gasp that escaped her lips was full of pure shock.

Lee was pushed against the wall, both hands gripping onto the hem of the shirt of the boy hovering over him. The boy had one hand placed above Lee's shoulder and his other was deeply tucked under the waistline of Lee's pants. Their mouths were attached, lips hungrily pressing against each other. Clover would've shut the door and walked away if it was any other pair, any other people. But she couldn't, not when it was Babs who was pushed up against Lee.

"Well that's a sight I didn't need to see in the morning," Clover recognized George's voice calling out from behind her, but she didn't look back. Not when she was busy watching both boy's heads snap over to the two, one looking over with a smile and the other refusing to make eye contact.

"Oh let them be," another voice sounded, a feminine one. Angelina's. "I mean honestly, it's about time."

Babs quickly pulled his hand out of Lee's waistline and took a step away as fast as he could, Clover glaring daggers at him for what they both knew he was doing. She could've let it go, she could've walked away as if nothing had happened. But then she looked over at Lee and her heart refused to let her turn away.

The boy was smiling, not just his usual smirk, but an actual, genuine smile. His cheeks were slightly reddened and his eyes were full of shooting stars. She wanted to scream at him, tell him that the stars held nothing but empty wishes and false promises. But she couldn't, she wouldn't let a boy full of light succumb to the dark.

She stormed up to Babs and backed him up against the opposite side of the storage room, her eyes narrowed and frustrated.

"Oi, Bean," Lee called out from behind the two, his lips pulled into a playful smirk, "Get your own boy, that one is mine."

When she turned around, Lee's smiled faded at the angry expression on her face and his voice softened, "Clover?"

She had no words to say, not to him at least. But her snapped back towards Babs and shot him a look far more intimidating than the disappointment they've grown up knowing, "You're serious?"

Her words were soft, but sharp. It was more of a statement than a question, and everyone around her could tell.

"Clover?" Her name was called again, but it wasn't Lee this time, "What's going on? It's no big deal, they're both old enough to make their own-,"

She refused to look back at George. He didn't understand, none of them understood the weight of what just happened except for Clover and Babs.

"How could you do that, you arsehole?" Clover cut him off and gritted through her teeth, her eyes never once leaving Babs'.

But this time, he was staring back.

"Like you're any better," his eyes flickered between Clover and George knowingly.

Both of their voices were soft, whispering, as if they were still trying to keep each other's secrets. But Clover knew secrets were nothing but quiet works waiting to burst at the seem, crack and spill out into the world around them. But she couldn't let them, not hers and not Babs'. So instead, she spun around and stormed pass all three confused stares.
