Jakub sighed and pushed his coat off his shoulders, his face covered in soot and sweat. It had been a pretty rough day down in the mines, there had been a gas leak in a mine not to far from his so everyone was on edge that day. He had been the only who was actually doing work. Karolina came down the stairs after helping their sons to bed. "Difficult day dear?" Jakub took his hat off and nodded. Karolina wrapped her arms around her neck, wiping some of the soot off his face "I can tell, you got more soot on you than usual" Jakub kissed her cheek, which rubbed some of the coal dust from his face onto hers "How can you tell?" Karolina caressed his cheek "Cause I can't see your handsome face" Jakub laughed and started pecking at her neck
