Somewhere during the period of Eli coming back from Akiridian-5 and Titans destroying my home town, I realized how much I missed him. We had always been close and clicked the instant we met, nothing felt the same after he left. I've always found him funny, sweet, and really cute, and I liked him. There was something different about him now though. He looked more, well there's no easy way of say it this, but he was 🔥hot🔥 now, and tbh it had a weird affect on me. He was different but in a good way, he's more confident, and walks a certain way that makes him stand out more. He's not as shy as before, but he's still my old Eli. He's still awkward and silly, clumsy too. 

"hey y/n?" I turned to see Ei looking at me with a worried expression. I was leaning against a column in the room. We were having our second meeting after attempt one of trying to stop our inevitable doom. Jim was having a crisis. 

"yea? what's up?" I questioned, confused turning a bit with my arms crossed, shoulder still on the column. Why was he worried? My cheeks started to flush pink, why were they doing that? They never did that before?

"Nothing." He said brushing it off, I guess me responding was all he needed. He giggled and continued to try and defuse the tension "It's just I was worried for a minute, you were kind of spacing out, and I now it's been rough with the titans and all. I just wanted to make sure you were ok." 

'Shhiiiit'  I thought in a little wimpier.  My cheeks exploded with crimson and my stomach was full of butterflies, hell my heart was even skipping a beat. 

"I'm fine." why was that squeaky? Oh my god, what it happening? I was panicking at this point, my body was out of control. The butterflies were taking over. 

"Are you sure? Why are you acting weird y/n?" He was worried again. Aaannnddd he touched my shoulder, and my cheeks are now lava and my body is turned the other way, why are we turning the other way? All I could think to say was:

"Yup!" 

'WHAT AM I DO? I want him to talk to me! Why am I walking AWAY from him!'

Eli's pov:

'Yup?' Why did she look so nervous?  Is it something I said or maybe did?  

I just watched her walk away. I heard someone walk in, but I didn't care. I just wanted to know what her lips tasted like. 

"Oh god Eli!! What are you thinking!? She's been your friend for how long now? You can't just decide you like her after leaving for outer space!!" I yelled, I was frailing my arms about while passing. 

"Uhhhhhh. Woah bro? You do you're talking out loud right?" Steve. Shit. I froze in my spot and turned around slowly, he was munching on donuts, and it looked like his stomach was bigger. 

'Is that even possible, pregnant wome- I mean people don't grow that big in the span of a few hours.'  I shock my head, this was serious, it's Steve. 

"Whhhaat? N-n-no." I laughed nervously. "I- You, Well-"

"No. Nope!" He said and flung his donut up in the air. "You. Talk. Now." He said each word with a wave of his donut and then took a bit. I awkwardly moved back, and finally relaxed.
