Past Always Haunts

"HOW MUCH DID YOU HEAR?!" I yell out, seeing James' eyes open wide. He either heard something or is just scared. I bite my lip before blushing slightly. "You uh- caught me off guard. I didn't expect you to be back so soon."

"I always come back. I brought food." James sets the bag down before blushing slightly. "I uh- need to..." He drags off before glancing at the bathroom. 

"Go ahead. I'm not stopping you." He walks to the bathroom before I start to rummage through the bag. Poor kid. I start to eat my sandwich before hearing a knock at the door. I set it back down before walking over, seeing Tucker and Jordan. "Hey guys. Whats up?"

"Where's James? I know he's here." Tucker says. "Or did he leave already?"

I hear tears build before I reply, "He's not here. I'll talk to you guys...some other time." I shut the door quickly before sitting on the bed, tears pouring out. Yet I make no sound. Cause I can't let anyone know I'm vulnerable. 

*Flashback - 3 years ago*

"I love you, Amelia." Zack said, kissing my hand.

"I love you too, Zack." I bite my lip before opening my mouth. "I need to tell you something." 

"Whats wrong, love?" 

"I'm pregnant. Its yours." 

"Oh my god...I'm gonna be there for you, Aurelia. I promise."

*1 month later*

"Hey, Zack. We need to talk." 

"We're not talking about anything. Especially when you cheated on me- and got knocked up by someone else's kid. Who's is it, huh? Jesse? Anthony? Hell, Erick? Its not mine." He said, eyeing me. "You're just a whore. A slut. Trash." 

A couple days later, I ended up miscarrying my baby. But the reputation stuck with me. I had lost my baby, my love of my life, yet the reputation of a slut stuck with me. 

*Back to present*

The bathroom door opens as James walks out. "Who was at the door?"

"Tucker and Jordan." I say, hiccuping at the end of Jordan's name.

"What did they- are you crying?" He walks over, pulling me into his chest. "What happened? Was it last night? What they said? Talk to me."

"Its everything."

"Look at me." James gently lifts my head to bring my eyes to his. "Talk to me."

"It was in high school. I only had one boyfriend. In junior year, we started sleeping together. One month or two after the 1st time, I got pregnant. I told him and he was excited. A month later, he changed his mind. He thought that I cheated on him and that it was someone elses child. He called me a slut, a whore, trash. A couple days later, I miscarried. I lost everything I had, but the reputation of a slut. I almost ended it a couple times. That's when I started Youtube, cause I had nothing left to lose. That's why I don't work with others. I don't want to lose what I had there. And why you're the only one I've told about this. I like you, James. I really do. But I hold  myself back. I bottle up my feelings and don't let them free. Hell, I let myself go for one day, and what do I do? I sleep with you! Maybe I am a whore. Maybe I should go out onto that street and sell myself. Cause I have nothing else going for me." I stand up and walk towards the door, James grabbing my hand.

"Aurelia, come here. That guy was a dick. A jerk. Scum. He shouldn't have done that. But I'm not him. I will always come back. If I am gone, I will always come back. As for selling yourself. Don't talk that way. You have plently of stuff going for you. I'm going to talk to them. I won't stand for them spreading rumors around." James gently kisses me before walking out of the room.

*James' POV*

I walk down the hallway, Aurelia's words echoing in my mind.  She's trusting me of all people. I walk up to Tucker's door, knocking on it. The door opens as I see Tucker and Jordan. "Hey."

"No time for casualties, gentlemen.  I heard what you said to Aurelia. I'll be glad to let you know that she's crying in there. You didn't know what she's gone through. And now she's scared that I'm going to walk out on her. Which is a lie. I love Aurelia. With all of my heart. I'd NEVER do that. I expect you guys to apologize. Now."
