"Cara? Could you clean the house while Ben and I are on the beach?" My mom asked. Even though I knew that it meant 'Cara clean the house while we're gone!'

"No." I answered without thinking, fuck. "What?" She had a mad look in her eyes. "No!" By now I was completely here, I knew what I was saying, but I didn't care. "Cara! You're gonna clean the house! If not-" "What? You're gonna send me back to LA to live with dad? Because please, do it." I say, I'm just so done with this family. "Out!" She yells "What?" It took me a moment to realise what she said. "OUT! NOW!" She repeated. My moms face was red from angryness. "Fine." I said, I turned around to go upstairs and pack but just when I turned, I saw my little brother Parkers sad face. He was crying. I picked him up and walked upstairs to my room, trying to calm him down.

"Shh, it's okay, calm down baby." I say, cradeling him in my arms. We sat Down in my bed. "Where are you going?" He asked me With tears streaming Down his face, I dryed them off, but he just kept crying. "I'm just going to live With daddy for a while, but I promise you, I'll be back before you know it." I told him and kissed his forehead. "Why can't I come With you?" He seriously make me so sad right now.

"I wish you could, but you need to be here and take care of mom." It was heartbreaking watching him cry so much.

"Will you help me pack?" I asked after Parker had calmed Down. He nodded and stood up. I didn't really bother packing Nice. I just basically threw everything into bags, well, everything I needed. You know, my favourite clothes, makeup, shoes, my Mac. Well, basically everything in my room.

It didn't take long before I was done. But I had to Call my dad before I left.

He picked up after Three beeps.

D: "Hello?" It was my dad.

C: "Hey, dad?"

D: "Sweetie, hi how are you?" He sounded so happy.

C: "I miss you dad." I started sobbing.

D: "I miss you too sweetie."

C: "Ok, so the reason I called is because, well, my mom threw me out of the house, and I was wondering if I could come and live in LA?"

D: "Wait? She threw you out? I knew you should have stayed here With me."

C: "I really wish I did."

D: "Wait, how's Parker?"

C: "I Guess he's okay, he's right here actually, I just, I feel so bad for leaving him here With those monsters." By now, I cried so hard, I could see the worry in Parkers eyes.

D: "Take him With you." Dad said out of the blue.

C: "What?"

D: "Cara, take him With you."

C: "I'll see what I can do.

D: "Okay, I love you guys."

C: "We love you too dad."

I hung up fast and walked fast over to Parkers room. I used one of my bags and packed Parkers clothes in it. I took the bags downstairs and out to the car. "Wait, you're not leaving without Parker." Ii could hear my mom say from behind. "What?" I did not understand. "You're gonna have to take Parker With you, because Ben don't want him anymore." "You, know what, fine, I'm not even going to argue With you about that." I said before I went upstairs to get Parker. He sat in my room With a spiderman backpack on his lap. "Hey baby, you're coming With me." I said before I picked him up and walked downstairs and out to the car.

I made sure we had Our Passports, my Money, my phone, keys, and some more important stuff. Then we drove off, not bothering to say goodbye.

We stopped at a gas station so I could call dad again.
"Hey dad? "We're at a gas station." "Yeah he's with me." "Could you buy us some tickets?" Yeah, we're there in twenty minutes." "Ok, bye."

We kept driving until we arrived at the airport. We parked the car before I grabbed our bags and we ran inside. We got through control before I sent dad a message to check if he had our tickets. He answered that our flight goes In an hour.

"Hey Parker? Do you want ice cream?" I asked and he nodded with the biggest smile on his lips. We walked over to a disk and bought Parker an ice cream before we walked over to Starbucks so I could get my caramel frappe. We sat there and talked until we had to get the tickets and go to our flight.

I carried a tired Parker over to the line of people who were going to LA as well and we waited. I saw this old woman giving me weird looks. I walked over to her to confront her. "Excuse me, but is there a problem? You've been staring at me for five minutes now!" I said angry, God I didn't need this right now. "Aren't you a little young to have a kid that old?" She said and looked at me in disgust. "Excuse me! For the record, I'm not a slut, and this is not my kid, it's my brother okay so mind your own fucking business." I told her and walked away angry. I noticed that I had recieved a couple glares after the yelling but I didn't care at all. We finally got to go on the plane.

When we got on I couldn't find our seats. A flight attendant walked over to me. "Excuse me, are you Cara Davis?" She asked me with a plastic smile plastered on her Barbie face. "Yeah." I answered flat. "You're not supposed to sit here, you and your brother is placed in first class." I gave her a strange look, but followed her anyways.

We finally got our seats and the plane took off.

Parker had been sitting drawing the whole ride while I have been listening to music. It was really nice to drive first class, it's a lot more quiet here. I just don't understand why my dad who I haven't met in three years, would pay for that.

The plane finally landed and we got to go out and find our luggage. I grabbed a luggage carriage and put our luggage on it while Parker sat on the top, smiling as I drove him around. I texted my dad to tell him we were there and he told us to meet him on Starbucks, I didn't complain though.

We finally found it and I could see my dad standing there in a black leather jacket. "There he is!" I said, I lifted Parker down from the carriage. "Dad!" I yelled really loud. He turned around and saw us, I ran fast over to him and jumped in his arms.

I know it sounds lame and weird, but it's not if you've missed your dad for three years, and not being allowed to talk to him under any circumstances. "Hi sweetie." He said and hugged me tight, then he let me go and lifted up Parker and hugged him. Parker doesn't remember much of him though, we was just three years old when my mom and dad got separated but he still hugged him tight.

"Don't worry, we're going home now." Dad assured us and took our luggage.
