"To trust your ears, less than your eyes is a fools way of learning the truth."
-UnknownAzrael had felt eyes piercing him, he was asleep and couldn't remember what happened last night. He became alert and instantly shot up from his slumber, pressing his hand firmly on the the neck of the person who was watching him.
Rosalina had been watching him sleeping, she had woke up at 5:50am from a nightmare. She had dreamt that Azrael had killed her, standing over her dead body with a bloody knife. She stared at him sleeping. 'He looks so at peace.' She thought to herself.
Rosalina found herself withering around like a fish out of water while Azrael squeezed tightly around her neck. "A-Azzy.' She wheezed out, her face turning blue. Azrael soon came back to earth, hearing that name. Only one person called him that. He looked around and dropped her into his arms. "I'm so sorry, baby. I couldn't remember where I was."
Azrael looked at her neck and saw a small bruise forming. "Oh, shit. I hurt you. I'm sorry." He pulled her into a tight hug and Rose smiled into his cool naked chest. "Baby, what happened last nigh? I can't remember."
Rose shyly pointed over to the box of weapons on the floor, lid open and still there. "Oh. Oh! Oh, baby. I- I'm- I can't believe what I did. My God! What I did to you." He rubbed his hands down his face and leaned down to her height. "You want to know. Don't you? I'm going to have to tell you, aren't I?" Which Rose only replied with a small nod.
Azrael quickly thought of something to distract her, he will tell her, he will, but just needed to be with her before he tells her. Everything. "First you need to put some food into your tummy, huh?" He cooed while sliding his hand under her shirt and squished her stomach. Rosalina giggle and nodded. "Carry me, please." She pouted her lips and used her famous puppy eyes.
Azrael placed his hands on her jiggling derrière and lifted her up, she clenched her thighs around his waist and snuggled her face into his neck. "My baby." He whispered into her hair. He walked down into the kitchen and set her gently onto the marble counter, only for her to whine. "I want to be in your arms." She firmly told him. "No, baby I need to cook for you. Don't you want to have some nice waffles."
"WAFFLES!" She bounced up and down, making her breasts bounce. Azrael gulped and looked back up into her eyes. "Inside voices. Or do you just want eggs." He smirked. "Please, I'll be quiet." He shook his head. "Baby, you know I love your voice and I do want you to talk... but no shouting." Rose nodded with a small smile painted on her lips.
Azrael was mixing the waffle batter when Rose stopped her rambling. "Baby, why have you stopped speaking?"
"Are you going to tell me about the box?" She asked curiously, not fully sure if she actually wanted to know. "I will tell you later. But, please not now. I don't want you looking at me different." He told her while plating out the freshly baked waffles.
