(Y/n)'s POV:

It's been a year since Tom and I been together. It was great. We always faced together the ups and downs. He's been such an amazing boyfriend. Would company me in every runway show I get invited to. Everything around me seems so complete and perfect. We still share a home together.

"Darling!" He called out from downstairs. "Can you come here for sec?"

"I'll be there!" I yelled before going to him.

He was standing there holding a huge box.

"What's that?" I asked.

"I ordered something for the backyard. Also, I don't think I'll be coming with you to lunch at Rachel's." He said, as he put the box down.

"Oh okay. Do you need help with that?" I asked pointing at the box.

"Yes please." He said.

I went to him and grab the other side of the box and help him carry it to our backyard. As we arrived, I gently place the box down.

"Thank you darling." He said, as he side-hugged me and kiss my forehead.

"No problem, I'll go get ready now." I said, he just nodded.

I ring the doorbell. Rachel quickly answered it. We greeted each other. She just moved in to his fiancé's house. They met during our trip to Paris, turned out they were childhood friends for a short time. They said, they were really close during her stay at Paris when she was younger. They met at an event place.

"This is nice. I love what you did in the interiors." I complimented her.

"I know." She boasts.

"What's for lunch?" I asked.

"Human flesh." She said sarcastically.

"Yum!" I said going along with her joke.

"We're having pasta, I cooked them." She said proudly.

"Are you sure they're edible?" I asked her jokingly. She is not the best cook in the friend group, not even her family, which is full of chefs.

"We just have to find out. If our stomach aches it means either we are having food poisoning, e-collie, or salmonella. We should be open on trying new things." She said sarcastically.

"That's great." I said.

We went to the dining table. We took a seat besides each other.

"How's your relationship with Tom?" She asked.

"It was amazing!" I answered. "He would sing me to sleep, when I'm having trouble with sleeping. We would have brunch together every weekend, and he will buy me flowers." I told her.

"That's so sweet of him." She commented, taking a bite out of her food.

"How's you relationship with Arthur?" I asked, truly curious.

"He is also great. He would buy me flowers from time to time. Also, he makes the best food ever. You know, I used tp hate shrimps for some unknown reasons, he changed that. Now, my favourite food is buttered shrimp. Can't you believe that?" She said. She was really happy. Happiness really suits her.

"I don't know, I'm allergic to seafoods." I said.

"Since when?" She asked surprised.

"Just this July, when we returned from Paris." I said.

"Poor you. That's what happened, when you try to beat me at taking alcohol." She said, making faces.

I just laught at how stupid she looks.

I went back home. The lights were all out. As I turned on the lights, rose petals are on the floor leading to the backyard. I immediately followed it, due to my curiosity.

"Tom?" I called out. "I'm home." I said.

"Hello love." He said kissing me. "Had fun?" He asked.

"Yes. Rachel gets to show me her new fish in her aquarium." I said.

"That's cool." He said, leading me to my seat.

"What's this for?" I asked.

"Let's eat!" He said ignoring my question.

Desert was amazing. Our surroundings was calm. It was perfect. Tom suddenly stood up, he reached out his hand for me take, which I gladly took.

"Mind to dance with me, M'lady?" He said in a fancy accent.

"Sure, I would love to dance with you." I said in a exaggerated British accent.

We started to waltz. This was nice. Everything seems to be perfect. The music suddenly stopped. I look at him confuse, not until he goes to one knee and pulled a small box, inside was an engagement ring with a small diamond in the middle.

"(Y/n) (L/n), I'm not going to make this any longer. Can you make me the happiest man and marry me?" He asked.

"This is perfect." I said as tears started falling out of my eyes. "I didn't expect this. You know? How much I love you and all, and now you're on your one knee proposing to me. It's perfect." I said. I am too overwhelmed to calm down.

"Is that a yes or..." He asked.

"Of course. I would always say yes, whenever you'll ask me to marry you." I said. He puts the ring on my ring finger. He pulls me closer and kissed me passionately.
