My friend is corrupting my mind into this

MADLEIENE POV:
It was any other day, walking alongside other cookies in the kingdom. well, until there was a subtle crying sound in the distance. "Hey Love, Do you hear that?" I asked Espresso who was walking with me, "Yeah.. I do. Where could it be coming from??" he replied in almost a whisper. "Im not sure, But i kinda wanna go find it." "Really? what if its another cake monster, Or—" I cut him off, "Either way, it sounds hurt. And i want to help it.
Plus, Isnt your Great commander strong enough to defend himself, and you?" I said finishing with a wink. I didnt get a reply for a few seconds. "...Fine. But if you get hurt, Just know i tried to warn you. Although ill still help you if you do.." He whispered the last part, And we started to follow the soft sobbing sound. I could tell we were getting close because every foot steps it got a bit louder.

Eventually, We found it. "My, my..." Espresso said before continuing: "Never thought that, This would be what we would find..." we stood in shock, Was it.. a shark...? but it has the body of a cookie... in the blink of an eye, it was a regular cookie..

"Uh.. Hey.! Kid.. Are you alright.?" I said, Not exactly knowing what to say.
"OoOoooooOOoo" Was the reply i had gotten.
I stood shocked. Did.. it not know how to talk?..
espresso and i both looked at eachother, concerned.
I decided to take a step towards.. it.. and i saw a small bit if blood..
"Did you.. Hurt your leg?.." I asked slightly kneeling down next to it.  I recieved a nod. "Hey, Espresso could you get some bandaids back at the house?" I asked espresso with a smile. "Yeah of course" he replied, before running off back to our home.

I looked around a small but trying to see if i could make them laugh, or atleast make them grin. "....would you like to see my sword?" i finally asked them.  They looked at me, and nodded slightly. I carefully pulled out my sword, and let them look at it, "would you like to hold it?" I held it out slightly. Their face looked like it glew. i chuckled to myself, they slightly scooted over to me, and carefully grabbed the handle of my sword. "Its kinda heavy, sorry about that kiddo.." I said, Slightly putting my hand on their shoulder. "Ooo! OooOoOOoo" They said smiling.

"Apologies for taking a while, Latte needed to speak with me about.." he paused for a second "something.. But i got the bandages!.." He said slightly walking over, and handing them to me. "Well have to clean their leg fully when we are able to fully get back home.. but this should do for now." I carefully put the bandaid on their injured leg. "Is it alright if i pick you up?" I asked them with a smile in my face, and i recieved a nod. I carefully pick them up, including my precious sword. "come, we wouldnt want to keep then waiting any longer." "Right. Come on now Maddie." Espresso hurried up and proceeded to start walking, I did the same.

Once we reached the kingdom, Cherry and pancake ran over to us, "PAPA!! DAD!! WE MISSED YOU!! Where were you!?" Cherry practically screamed. "We were helping.. Them." Espresso trailed off slightly blushing. "Why must you two call me and madeleine p-papa, and dad.??" he said blushing even more. "Because you two are dating right?? and your like our parents!!"" Pancake said jumping happily. "Also whats their name!!!" Cherry finished pancakes sentence.
"Well.. First.. me and Madeleine arent dating.. we are just... very good friends.. and, We havent gotten their name yet.." Espresso said blushing a bright pink, until he said that we were just very good friends, most of his blush went away and he seemed.. sad...? "Awwe.. So does that mean we cant call you papa and dad...?:( But.. it felt so nice to call you that:(..." Pancake and cherry both fell into their what they called "Worse than when you two leave us for missions" feelings. "N-No!.. You can still call us that!.. R-Right Espresso?.." I looked at him dead in the eye. And he blushed, Which, I was too. "Y-Yeah!.. Dont worry you two, You can still call is papa and dad:).." Espresso finished, His fave being practically as red as a tomato. "Oh!, Right, Im gonna head back to the house to help their wounds, " they were asleep. "..And since their asleep ig that woukd maybe be easier.." "CAN WE COME?" Cherry and pancake yelled. "Of course:)" I replied to them with a smile. And we began to walk to me and espressos house. I paused in my tracks "Are.. you not gonna come, Ba- I mean, Espresso?.." I blushed at how i almost called him babe. he seemed to of blushed too. "U-Uh, Yeah sorry." He said slightly running towards me.

When we all reached home, I had taken the kid into our bathroom, and started treating their wounds, After i had finished i gave their wound a small kiss. What? Youve never asked your parents to kiss your wound when you got hurt? Exactly. i picked them up, and walked out if the bathroom, "Im gonna have them sleep in our bed for a bit, is that alright?" I quietly asked espresso, who was fighting with cherry and pancake about cleaning their mess of toys. "Huh? Oh, Yeah thats fine!- HEY- Pancake dont out that in your mouth!-" Espresso went to take a.. Knife out if pancakes mouth.

i walked to me and espressos room, and placed the kid down on our bed, tucked him in, and gave him a small kiss on the forehead. "Good night kid" I smiled. And began to walk back out to the living room to help espresso out with cherry and pancake, as i walked out of the room i made sure to close the door behind me, To ensure the kid got some good sleep. "NO CHERRY! YOU CANT EAT UR DADS- Or i mean- MADELEINES SHEILD" I heard Espresso yell. "Heh.." I sighed to myself. "What did i miss?" I grandfully walked in "DAD!! HIII!!!"Both cherry and oancake hooked onto my legs. "Hello, You two.." I looked at them both, patting their heads.

"Is the other one asleep? Have you gotten their name??" Espresso asked looking away. "Not yet. and, their asleep:))" I said winking at him. he blushed a lot, which honestly was adorable. "Come on you to, Lets clean up.. this mess.." I said feeling bad for leaving espresso with the two. "Oh thank you Madeleine.." Espresso said looking tired. "You go sleep alright? Ill deal with them." As espresso was walking past me i gave him a kiss on the cheek, "Good Night, Espresso:)" "Night Maddie" He said smiling back. "No We ArE jUsT fRiEnDs" Cherry said mimicking what espresso and i had said earlier.. and a lot of times before that. "Alright alright you two. Lets just start cleaning.." I said with blush creeping up on my face. "do i really like him?... It would make sense... Wa- No! I dont?!... I couldnt.. He wouldnt even like me back!..." I thought to myself.

Eventually, They finished cleaning up their mess in the living room which had originally had Smoke stains from cherrys bombs, Some whipped cream on the floor, and toys on the floor.

"Hey! You beat your record!!! Good job you two!!" I said trying to cheer them up a but more since, well they just had to clean their mess, i dont think any kid likes that.

I checked the time. "9:12", "Well would you look at that. You two have 18 Minutes till your bedtime! Whos gonna be ready first?" Just when i finished Cherry yelled out "I WILL!!" "What?!? No!! I will!!" And they were both off to see who would be ready for bed first. I went to go get their beds ready, Their plushes, and their nightlights. About 10 ish minutes later, they both ran in, "I finished first!! " Pancake said "Yeah.. He beat me this time:((" Cherry said with a slight frown on her face. "But ill beat you to our beds first!!" she ran to her bed right once she finished. "Wai- Thats not fair!!>:(" "Is too!!" cherry laughed.

"Alright alright you two, stop your bickering. Its tme for you two to sleep. Tomorrow we are gonna do some stuff for your new friend if we can!" I said finishing off with a smirk. "Woah really?? Im so excited!!!!" Cherry yelled. "Same!!" Pancake agreed hugging his stuffed animal. "Heh.. Good night you two." I gave them both kisses on their foreheads, and they went to sleep. I walked out if the room, got myself ready for bed, and hoped next to Espresso, Cuddling him. Before i knew it, I was asleep aswell.

YOOOO 1522 WORDS!! OKOK THIS IS BASICALLY THE FIRST FANFIC IVE EVER ACTUALLY HAD MOTIVATION TO DO. IT TOOK AROUND 1hour and idk minutes hhhhhhhh ok bye.. Pls leave suggestions 🙁
