{So this was originally supposed to be part of the previous chapter, but i realized it'd be too long, so it's a different episode}
The sound of gunshots echo throughout the sky, a symphony of bangs and booms fill the air as the students train, where exactly? At a shooting range of course, each student in their combat gear with their own weapon, even Weiss and Jane who have no guns are using a revolver that the school lent to them. Almost each and every one of the students are extremely adept at using firearms and are hitting bullseye after bullseye. Almost being a keyword, why, well because there's a certain mountain boy that's having an extremely hard time aiming a normal M9 standard issue Atlas Pistol, easier to aim than most guns and even then he's missing every shot
Y/N: "Darn, another miss... How is this so hard to use" He looks at the pistol in his hands as he sweats a bit
Ruby: "Still having trouble with it?" Ruby looks over to her teammate as she fires another round from her Cresent Rose, she sets it down and walks over to him "Let me see it" He hands it to her and she aims down the sight, firing the whole magazine, all shots being a bullseye "U-Um it was probably just a fluke, here, i'll give it back" She says as a bead of sweat rolls down her forehead
Y/N: "Thanks.." He sighs as he reloads it, at least he knows how to do that "I don't know how this can be so hard" He looks down at the pistol in his hand. I mean i guess it kind of makes sense, him only using two katanas his entire life. He lets out a long sigh as Yang walks over
Yang: "Oh come on, don't be like that. You'll get it in no time" She ruffles his hair as he blushes a bit from her comment
Blake: "Yeah, i'm sure you'll get the hang of it. Besides, it's already been a week since the first day, and this is the first thing you've actually had trouble with" She places her hand on Y/N's shoulder as he looks at his team through his hair
Y/N: "I'll make sure to keep trying" He gives a slight smiles as the rest give a thumbs up, going back to their targets. He looks to his and aims down the sight "Alright, i got this..."
After Class
3:00 PM
Glynda: "And finally, Y/N L/N, you got 300 misses and no hits. Don't feel too bad, it is understandable. You don't use a firearm in your fighting. Class Dismissed" All the students walk out with their friends as Y/N looks extremely down with his friends trying to comfort him
Nora: "Hey come on, N/N {Nickname} It's super hard to aim a gun right. You'll start hittin' kneecaps in no time" She pats his back, though it doesn't make him feel any better
Ren: "True, it took me a while to learn how to aim correctly as well"
Y/N: "How long?" He looks up at her, causing her to sweat a little as she looks to the side
Ren: "Um... One hour.." Y/N looks even more depressed as Jane scolds Ren for making the situation worse
Weiss: "It's alright if you can't use guns, i mean you are a melee fighter. And you're an expert at that"
Y/N: "Yeah, i guess you're right. But still, it might effect my grade. And i don't think my other subjects are good either" He sighs, getting up from his chair and looking around at the group "Don't worry, i'll get over it. I'm just going to train my breathing for a while" He walks out on the group, leaving them a bit worried
Jane: "You think he's alright?"
Pyrrha: "Should we go check on him?" She looks over to the group who are all thinking about solutions
Ruby: "I, I think it's best to leave him for now, i mean he's probably just cooling his head off" She turns to the group, a fake smile to hide her true intentions
