Short 1: Uninvited Dinner Guest

Author Note: Take Place After Helluva Boss: The New Employee Episode 1

In the kitchen of her apartment, Amara is making some dinner for herself. It seems kind of quiet in her apartment, but this is her new home now. She is cutting some vegetables into tiny bits and puts them in a pot of broth with garlic and other ingredients.

"There. I'll just need to get some butter to put it in the soup and it will be ready," Amara says, opening the fridge with her head turned away from it.

Suddenly, a gloved Imp hand comes out of it with the butter, "Here you go kid, one stick of butter."

"Thanks Blitz," Amara says, taking the butter and closing the fridge without turning her head back.

She then puts the butter on the table and is about to cut it.

But soon realizes, "Huh?"

She then opens the door to her fridge again and to her shock, she sees her Imp boss inside her fridge.

The Imp waves, "Hey cowgirl, about time you see me here."

"What the... Blitz?! What in the hell are you doing in my fridge?!" Amara exclaims in shock.

"What? Couldn't a boss visit her newest employee at her house," Blitz questions.

"I don't mind you coming here for a visit, but you could at least let me know that you're coming over," Amara firmly says.

But then Amara realizes something else, "Wait... how did you get in my apartment anyway? And into my fridge without me noticing?"

"Oh that... yeah... I picked the lock on your door while you were doing your grocery shopping," Blitz says.

"You what?!" Amara exclaims, shocked.

"Well, I thought I should see where you live and since I heard you're living in the same apartment as Moxxie and Millie, it didn't take me too long to figure out where you're living," Blitz says.

Amara groans and facepalms her face.

She removes her claw and asks, "I suspect there is something else behind your sudden visit."

"What? No. It's not anything weird. I'm just curious to know what you do, and get to learn more about you," Blitz says.

Amara calmly says to Blitz, "You do realize you could just ask me while I was at work, right?"

"Maybe, but getting to know where you live is just as good as any," Blitz says.

"You mean by sneaking into my room and spying on me. Moxie and Millie told me about the stuff you do. It's an invasion of privacy," Amara says.

"Alright, you're making this into a bit of a bigger deal than it needs to be," Blitz says.

"Sorry that I don't like finding my boss in my fridge," Amara says.

She then turns back to her cooking, and cuts some pieces of butter and only puts a few in her soup. Then she begins to stir it.

"However, since you're here, you might as well stay for dinner," Amara says.

Blitz grins and says, "Don't mind if I do. And let me say that it's nice to offer me some food."

Blitz then sits down on the chair next to a small square table and asks, "So then, what's for dinner?"

Amara is rather annoyed, but she knows that the best thing to do is allow Blitz to be with her for dinner. Of course, it's not really her choice.
