Short 6: Roy Goes to School

One morning Amara and Roy are walking down the sidewalk of Imp City. Roy is wearing a backpack and is holding a lunch box.

As they walk down the sidewalk, Amara asks, "Okay Roy, today is your first day at a new school?"

"Yeah. And I got everything I need," Roy says.

"Your notebooks, pencils, erasers, extra papers, folders, and your agenda?" Amara asks.

"Yes. You checked my backpack three times," Roy says.

Amara then asks, "And you have your phone. I like to know how you're doing at your school."

"It's in my lunchbox," Roy says.

"Sounds good. And if you have trouble with bullies, try to converse, if that doesn't work, then go with being assertive. And sometimes you'll have to either go with confrontation or retaliation," Amara says.

"Right," Roy says with a nod.

Soon, the two siblings arrive at a large building that has two stories and it's surrounded by a large fence. There, many of the grownup Imps, Hellhounds, Cats, Succubus, and other demons are dropping their kids off to school. They enter the school and soon meet up in front of the classroom. Soon, they see Mrs. Mayberry.

"Hi Amara. Roy. Glad to see you found us soon," Mrs. Mayberry says.

"Yeah. And thanks for helping me get Roy enrolled," Amara says.

"No problem. You took a job for me," Mrs. Mayberry says.

Amara kneels to Roy and says, "Okay Roy, I'll be back to pick you up at 3:30 this afternoon. So be good and listen to your teacher, and hope you make some good friends."

"Okay," Roy says.

Then Amara walks away and says, "And don't forget to have fun."

"Bye sis," Roy says.

Roy sighs a little and is a little bit nervous about his first day of school.

Moments later, Mrs. Mayberry and Roy are in front of the classroom with each student having a desk. There are around twenty four students.

"Good morning students. Today we have a new student joining us today. This is Roy," Mrs. Mayberry says, introducing Roy to the class.

"Howdy, my name is Roy," Roy says.

Soon, the students begin talking.

A Succubus girl says, "He's so cute."

An Imp boy asks, "Where are you from, Roy?"

"I'm from the Wrath Ring," Roy answers.

"Really? That far away?" A student asks, amazed.

Everyone begins talking and is taking an interest.

Now style down students and let's begin the lesson," Mrs. Mayberry instructs the students.

Then turns to Roy, "Roy, you should sit at the front, next to Misty."

"Okay," Roy says.

Roy then sits down at the front row and turns his head to the left to see a young pink color Succubus with yellow sclera and pink iris. She is also wearing a red undress with white stockings and mary janes. Her hair is light brown with small pigtails, tied by hair ties that have puffy balls on it.

The girl giggles and says, "Hello, I'm Misty. You're really cute."

Roy blushes like crazy and says, "Uh well, I uh, thanks. I'm Roy."

Suddenly, he feels something hit him on the back of his head. He quickly turns around to see a young Imp with a pea shooting straw in his hand. He has black and white striped horns, curved with a white blotch on his left eye, and his eyes are yellow. He is wearing a black t-shirt, brown shorts, and red sneakers. He also has spikes on the back of his head.

"Hey New-B, named Nick. Try not to get all cute and stuff. Just because you're new doesn't mean you can earn my respect," The Imp says.

Just then Misty sternly says, "Cut it out, Nick! Do you want me to tell the teacher?!"

"Students, pay attention, and Nick, don't go picking fights with Roy on his first day," Mrs. Mayberry sternly says.

The three students say, "Yes Mrs. Mayberry."

The three students remain quiet as the teacher goes on with the lessons. Roy has been listening to Mrs. Mayberry and her lessons. The girl sitting next to him, Misty, has been having her eyes toward him. Nick is looking at Roy too, but for a different reason. He also has been noticed by a young Hellhound with dark gray furs, and wears black pants and a gray t-shirt, and a what Hellcat demon with copper color eyes,. She is wearing black shorts, and a red blouse with a ribbon tied around her neck that has a bell on it.

Sometime later, during lunch, Roy is sitting on the table by himself.

Just then, Misty walks over and asks, "Hey Roy, mind if I sit here?"

"Uh sure," Roy says.

Soon, she takes a seat along with the young Hellhound and Hellcat.

"Hello," Roy says.

"Hi, I'm Cassidy, it's great to meet you," The Hellcat happily says.

The Hellhound says, "Yo. The name's T-Bone"

"Howdy, name's Roy," Roy replies.

Cassidy asks, "Hey, I saw you with a tall Owl demon earlier. Do you know her?"

"Yeah. She's my sister," Roy says.

"Really. That's cool. And she looks very pretty," Cassidy says, amazed.

"Sick," T-Bone says, interested.

Suddenly, someone says, "Yeah. Nice to hear that you have a freak for a sister."

Roy, Misty, T-Bone, and Cassidy turn their heads to see Nick who has a smirk on his face.

"You two sure make a freaky pair. An Imp who has an owl for a sister. Talk about weird," Nick says in a mocking tone.

Roy stands up and sternly says, "Don't talk about my sister that way."

"What are you going to do? Are you going to cry for her? Ruffle her annoying feathers," Nick mocks.

Roy grits his teeth in anger and then kicks him in the shins. Nick screams, "OW!"

That makes his tray of lunch fall to the ground. Misty smirks and uses her tail to trip Nick, causing him to fall back and have his face splattered on his lunch. Seeing the event, everyone in the cafeteria begins laughing. Nick angrily turns to see Roy and his new friends laughing. He simply huffs and walks away, but Roy and his friends know that Nick will still try to pick on them the first chance he gets.

By the end of the day, the bell rings and the kids leave the school for the day. Roy along with Misty, T-Bone, and Cassidy walk out together.

Roy turns to his new friends and says, "See you tomorrow guys."

"Bye!" The group says.

Cassidy and T-Bone to meet up with their families.

Misty smiles and gives a kiss to Roy, "Bye Roy."

Then leaves with a smile on her face. That leaves Roy stunned and his cheeks turning red.

Suddenly, he hears Amara's voice, "Roy!"

Roy snaps out of his shock and turns to see Amara. Roy happily runs to Amara and she picks him up in her arms.

"Hi Roy, how was your first day?" Amara asks.

Roy smiles and says, "I have to admit, my first day of school was great. I can't wait to come back tomorrow."
