Jake looked into the mirror, the man on it showing him it was about time to get back to work.

"Hey, sweetcheeks, it's about time for your show to start."

A nasty hand landed on his butt, he bit back a harsh retort, making his way to the stage leaving the disgusting man behind as he laughed like a maniac.

He reminded to himself why he's doing this made the bitterness of the moment to pass by like a sour pill down his throat.

He walked up stage as his coworker warmed up the audience beforehand.

"It's all yours now, fox" his coworker and friend whispered as they meet half way, he nodded as he moved ahead.

He danced and sang under the spotlight, as people of all ages yelled out his stage name.

"FOX! FOX! FOX!"

The dazzling lights always made him dizzy yet he kept on performing with his silver fox mask on stage like only he could, entrancing the crowd surrounding him.

~Flashback: Jake's past~

"You're looking gorgeous, cuore." An old man in black suit said.

"I know it. That's why you can't get enough of me" A younger honey-haired-college-student replied back unamused.

"Beside that's not a compliment, that's a fact!" He said, sarcastically, chugging down his gin ale, a wicked grin rising up on the corner of his lips.

"Sassy as ever my beautiful principe" He came closer to the younger, his deep voice dropping slightly as he stared at those cherry plump lips.

"You love it when I'm like this, don't you, darling?"

Jake turned around and walked to the pool, almost testing the man in suit, which worked as a hand snuck around his waist before he could walk any further.

"What are you doing, Mister?" He stared back coldly, yet his whole body was burning, blaming it to the alcohol for making effect this soon.

"You might get hurt if you slip on the ground falling for me" the elder stated calmly, eyes focused on the amethyst ones, smiling brightly as his grip was hard enough to not let him go, yet loose as if to not cause any damage.

"Cheesy, don't you have new pick up lines?" Teasing his targets was amusing, however this time it did things to him which he couldn't deny seeing how handsome and mature the man was.

"You need to try a new strategy, Sir. If your goal is having me in your bed" His thoughts slipping out of his mouth before he could control them, not like he minded, as his senses were a bit numb and so was his self restrain.

"Straight to the point. Shall I take that as an invitation?" the older grunted, loosing up his tie, letting go of his hold as he did his best to keep voice under control.

Truth be told, Jake was curious to know and experience what his friends had talked about before.

No like he minded as the man was breathtaking, elegant and one night might not hurt.

After all marriage was never in his plans, and love was out of the equation as he didn't believe in fairytales and such nonsense about finding 'your other half.'

"What if I am? Would you be willing to play along?" This time he took the initiative to drag the elder out of the crow to sate his curiosity.

The man played along into his trap, may it be due he was Jake's spell or he truly felt something for the younger.
