Mirror of Erised

For the past week, Severus Snape my boyfriend has been coming back late from places he doesn't even tell me. Im starting to get really worried about it so i am going to confront him.

The thing is, I can't find him. Our shared room, his office, our classroom, I even asked Albus if he knew where Sev went but he just told me that maybe he is with the Mirror of Erised. So that where i checked. He was there.

He had tears in his eyes as he looked in the mirror but when he saw me, his face hardened and it turned to an icy glare. "Miss L/N, tell me what you see in the mirror please" He used my last name and i got worried if i did anything wrong. "Why Sev?" "Now!" His voice now risen with anger radiating off it.

I look in the mirror and see me and him. He is proposing to me on a beach, and we were so happy. "Well?" "i see me and you getting married. Sev, why do you want to know?" "Because Y/N, i see me and Lily. We are happy and have a child."

Hearing him say that got tears pricking my eyes so i ran out of the room, went to my quarters and went to bed. When I woke up in the morning, there was a note on my dresser. Meet me in the classroom after you get ready. I rolled my eyes and got ready. I did not want to see him after last night but i knew that he had some explaining to do.

I arrive at the classroom and see Severus already there. "You wanted to see me, Professor Snape?" "Y/N, please dont call me that. I-" "No Severus! You saw  her in that mirror last night! There is no more to be explained. The mirror shows what your heart desires the most." "Darling please! I love you! Dont leave me." "I have to Severus. Now that I know I'm just the one who came after Lily Evans. Goodbye Severus."

After that, I resigned and left. Albus tried to talk to me about not leaving but i refused. I never want to see the man that broke my heart ever again.
